Because it is similar. For example, like those others. Therefore, accomplishing it in such a way, as extensively explained, is for the sake of eliminating birth, abiding, and cessation. In the beginning of the debater, the reasons and examples stated by the opponent, in terms of ultimate truth, are unestablished and non-existent, but in terms of conventional truth, if reasons and examples are stated, then it is contradictory in meaning. Because of concluding with the power of the fruit of the way it was taught. Birth, abiding, and destruction, because they are unestablished, there is no conditioned. To this, the opponent believes that, in terms of ultimate truth, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases of conditioned phenomena must be held as having the nature of conditioned phenomena, because they possess the characteristics of conditioned phenomena such as birth. Whatever is said is unestablished. Whatever is said in terms of ultimate truth, cows and other conditioned phenomena exist, because they have characteristics such as tails. For those also, similarly, are those characteristics such as tails with characteristics? Or are they without characteristics and without examples? It should be refuted and examined. To this, if those have characteristics, then, if that is the case, are those tails the cow-ness of the cow? It is not what the conditioned itself represents, because it has characteristics, for example, like the footprint of a cow. If those are without characteristics, then, because they are without characteristics, those themselves are not established, therefore, they cannot represent the basis of those characteristics, as before, explain extensively. If those have other characteristics, then there will be an infinite fault, if there are no other characteristics, then there will be a fault in the basis of the characteristics, and so on should also be said. Others say that, in terms of ultimate truth, conditioned phenomena must be known to exist, because they have an antidote. Here, whatever is known to be non-existent is not with an antidote, for example, like the son of a barren woman. Conditioned phenomena have the antidote of unconditioned phenomena, therefore, by the power of the reason stated as such, it must be known that, in terms of ultimate truth, conditioned phenomena exist, therefore, for the previously stated inference, there is harm without contradiction or confusion, and

It is also said that aggregates and so on can be established. Here it says, if this conditioned phenomenon is completely established, then its exclusion is called unconditioned, if it is said that there is some substance, then if conditioned phenomenon is established, it is not existent, therefore, conditioned phenomenon is not completely established, then how can unconditioned phenomenon be established? In name, it is also like a rabbit's horn, it is not produced, so it is considered to be without substance, therefore, those reasons and so on are impossible. Here it says, if in reality it is shown that birth and so on are not characteristics, then in this way, they become subsequent proofs of excluding the characteristics of conditioned phenomena, therefore, the faults of the subject, reason and example base and so on not being established will occur. Here it says, although it does not exist in the ultimate sense, but in name, like a dream, like an illusion, like a Gandharva city, because it is admitted to exist, there is no fault. Just like a dream, the experience and memory of various discriminations, as well as good and non-good, and meeting with desirable and undesirable objects with the cause of divine blessing, corresponding to the fruit of close object of focus, although there is no self-nature when observed, but in name, due to the cause of mind such as existence, it becomes the object, just like illusion, from the illusionist and mantra and the special power of medicine, the nature of elephants, bull kings, women and places and so on arises, becoming the object of the root consciousness, although there is no self-nature, but because it is the cause of delusion, it is said to exist, just like the city of Gandharvas, there are wide pits, and doors and gatehouses, and white pavilions, which are pleasing, with corridors and windows, and the cause of the mind of a city with buildings, similarly, birth is like this, dwelling is like this, destruction is said like this. For the upright, for those whose eyes of seeing reality are fully opened, it is also said that the birth and so on of conditioned phenomena are the cause of the arising of mind. For those who do not understand, whose eyes of wisdom are closed, like dreams and so on, things will arise, will stay, will cease, this is the manifest pride of the true meaning.
