It transforms. How does it transform? Here, one tends towards the unique, and there, the oneness of saying 'one ox' and 'one horse' tends towards both the ox and the horse. Therefore, wherever there is oneness, there is togetherness, and the ox itself and the horse itself, without companionship, would also become together. In that case, examining togetherness itself becomes meaningless. Some say that this is not reasonable because it does not belong to the category of establishing flaws and refuting, and if they wanted to say those things, they should say those things themselves, but because they have not said those things. Similarly, if different things are together, they would also become so without companionship. Desire and passion are the occasion of togetherness itself. It is not desired that desire and passion are togetherness itself without companionship. This also shows that the dharma to be negated of the togetherness itself of desire and passion is dependent. Therefore, inference does not actually want the different selves of desire and passion to have togetherness itself, because it is dependent, like cause and effect. To this, others say that even if it is a different self, if it becomes a togetherness itself, then even without companionship, it would become a togetherness itself. How does it become? Here, the horse is also different from the ox, and the ox is also different from the horse. Therefore, wherever there is a different self, there is a togetherness itself, and the different self of the ox and the different self of the horse, without companionship, would also become having a togetherness itself. In that case, examining togetherness itself also becomes meaningless. Some say that this is also not reasonable, just as it was answered before. Furthermore, if different things are together, what are desire and passion? By togetherness itself. Because those do not have togetherness itself, because they are different, like desire and the absence of desire, therefore it has already been shown that it would become a harm to inference. It is also said that if it is established as a different self, what is meant by 'different self' is mutual non-dependence itself. What is meant by 'itself'

Ba is to obtain self-nature. Therefore, by this, the two become one. With your wisdom, if desire and attachment are established as distinct entities, then why is it necessary to fully understand that the two become one? The words 'desire' and 'attachment' are the goals pursued. If it is said, 'This attachment's desire is this, this desire makes this attached,' is there a need for the necessity of the characteristic of observation? Then, this shows that by refuting the reasons for the difference between desire and attachment, even with stubborn thinking, one cannot judge that its meaning is not established. Furthermore, I say, 'If desire exists before, there is attachment without desire,' and so on, to show that it is impossible for desire and attachment to have distinct self-natures. And you, in order to strongly establish desire and attachment, therefore those two rely on oneness. To this, I also refute with 'Desire and attachment cannot arise simultaneously,' etc., because oneness is also dependent, so it is not acknowledged. One self-nature does not have oneness, because that self-nature is not one with that oneness. By this, oneness is rejected because it is one self-nature, and you, in order to strongly establish it, do not acknowledge it as a distinct self-nature. Because distinctness is not established, therefore, do you want oneness? In order to strongly establish oneness, do you also want distinctness? When distinct things are not established, one thing will not be established. At that time, O long-lived one, for which distinct thing do you want a single thing? Please say that. Is it for the distinctness that arises sequentially, or for the distinctness that arises simultaneously, that you want a single thing? To this, if you say it is for the distinctness that arises sequentially, that is unreasonable, because it is distinct, for example, like desire and non-desire, as has been explained before. Or is it for the distinctness that arises simultaneously? That is also because it has dependence. For example, like cause and effect, as has been explained before. Because of this, desire and attachment are one
