It is not desirable, because they have four fruits, namely consciousness and so on. For that which does not exist, there are no fruits, namely consciousness, contact, feeling, craving, etc., just like the eyes of a blind person. For the object of sight and the act of seeing, there are four fruits, namely consciousness and so on, therefore it is said that there is an object of sight and an act of seeing. Here it is said that if, in the manner shown above, the object of sight and the act of seeing are not well established, then, because there is no object of sight and act of seeing, the four, namely consciousness and so on, do not exist, because there is no cause. Therefore, if they are not established, then the object of sight and the act of seeing cannot be established, because there is no example. To those who say that consciousness and so on exist in the ultimate sense, because they have fruits such as taking and receiving, it should be said: How do taking and receiving exist? They are also not established like consciousness and so on. Taking and receiving refers to the things to be taken, namely desire, discipline, supreme vows, the assertion of self, and views. "Etc." refers to those that were first pointed out, namely existence, birth, old age, and death. Therefore, you have the same fault. Now, the opponent wants to argue similarly, in the manner shown above, with the first-mentioned hearing and so on, and sound and so on, which are considered to be truly existent, therefore it is said: Seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, and mind, the hearer and what is heard, etc., should be known as explained. It should be known that the answers to hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, mind, the hearer, and what is to be heard, etc., have also been given. With what have they been answered? It is with seeing itself. Just as seeing is refuted, the refutation of hearing and so on should also be done accordingly, with detailed explanation and elaboration. Therefore, from the beginning of the debate to the differentiation

Therefore, the arising of production is not established, and the going is also not established. Here, the meaning of detailed explanation is to show the emptiness of the aggregates by refuting the faults of the proponent's arguments. Therefore, whatever is the inner earth element and whatever is the outer earth element, that is the meaning of non-duality. That is, the Tathagata realizes non-duality, non-difference, and oneness of nature through wisdom and knowledge, that is, realizes complete enlightenment without characteristics. Likewise, daughter, how should one view the elements? The daughter said: Manjushri, for example, when the three thousand worlds are burned by the fire at the end of the kalpa, even ashes do not exist. Likewise, the eye does not see form, and the mind does not know phenomena. That which the world does not enter is the ultimate truth. Likewise, all phenomena are unknowable and invisible. One does not cling to the speaker of the Dharma, does not think, and is not arrogant. Likewise, sister, the eye does not see form, does not know, and Bodhi is also separate from the eye and form. Ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind, whatever does not hold phenomena, does not know, Bodhi is also separate from mind and phenomena. Likewise, suppressing with great force, form is not the object of form. Feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are also not the object of consciousness. Suppressing with great force, the so-called object is that form does not know form and does not see form, and feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness do not know consciousness and do not see consciousness. That which form does not know and does not see, and feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness do not know and do not see, is the Prajnaparamita. Thus, all that has been said is established.

This is called the "Discrimination Chapter," the third. Now, in order to show that the aggregates are without self-nature by refuting the differences of the opposing side that the sense-spheres exist, the fourth Discrimination Chapter is begun. Immediately after explaining the Discrimination Chapter, it says: "Hearing and smelling by seeing, Experiencing and touching and mind, The hearer and what is heard, etc., Know that they are explained in various ways." Therefore, those of our own school say: In ultimate truth, the sense-spheres exist only because they are included in the aggregates. Here, whatever does not exist is not included in the aggregates such as form, for example, a flower in the sky. The internal sense-spheres are included in the aggregates, for example, the ten forms are included in the form aggregate, the dharma sense-sphere is included in the three aggregates and one part of the form aggregate, and the mind sense-sphere is included in the consciousness aggregate. Therefore, according to the reason stated above, the internal sense-spheres exist in ultimate truth. Here it is said: In this, form, if briefly stated, is of two kinds: elemental form and form transformed from the elements. All those that are different by the distinctions of time and so forth are all combined into one and called the form aggregate. For the time being, let us begin by considering form from the opponent's own reason, because they think that the eye and so forth are included, and because it is easy to explain. "Without the cause of form, Form does not become an object." What is called form is that which can be ruined. Its cause is the cause of form, what is that? It is the four great elements, earth and so forth. What is called "without them" means if they are abandoned. What is called "form does not become an object" means in ultimate truth. What then? In order to establish terminology, it is established as form by relying on the cause of form, the four great elements. In this way, this shows that the dharma to be established by form is merely the aggregation of earth and so forth, and that if the dharma of the establishment of form does not take its own cause, there is no wisdom of it. The example is due to that, such as armies and forests and so forth.
