Therefore. If it is argued that just as one does not cling to oneself, one also does not cling to others, then even so, it cannot be established by example. Fire and peacock tail flowers do not cling to the self-nature of self and others. Therefore, that is not reasonable. Therefore, since the eye is not established as seeing in this way, birth is also not established, and going is also not established, because there is no example. Furthermore, it is also a contradictory reason. Here it is said: You conjecture by falsely imputing the meaning you want to establish, the eye does not see form, because it does not see its own self-nature, as it is said, if it has no power over its own self-nature, then it is shown that it has no power over the self-nature of others either. Even so, it is uncertain. Although fire has no power to burn its own self-nature, it has the power to burn the self-nature of others. Here it is said: In order to strongly establish seeing, the example of fire cannot be established. The eye is the nature of seeing. In order to strongly establish that meaning, the fault of the reason being uncertain is stated, meaning that in ultimate truth, fire is not established as a burner, and in conventional truth, it is also not established as the nature of seeing. Furthermore, in order to strongly establish seeing, the example of fire cannot be established. Because it is to state the fault of reason, it means that the nature of fire, which manifests the self-nature of self and others, is not present in the other side either, and in conventional truth, it is also not established as the nature of burning. What is called burning is also the change of firewood made by fire, so it is not the nature of fire. Furthermore, in order to strongly establish seeing, the example of fire cannot be established. With the consideration of gone and not gone, it answered with seeing. What is called seeing is having seeing. Which one? The example of fire. What did it do? It answered. With what? With gone, not gone, and consideration, etc. As before, in ultimate truth, there is no going to gone, not gone, and consideration, etc., because it is already gone.
