If, from the ultimate point of view, emptiness also possesses permanence, do you then consider its own nature to be empty as well? Because it is unborn in the manner previously shown, for example, like nirvana. Or, if you say impermanent, impermanent, then impermanence is said to be impermanent because it is empty of its own nature. If such an attachment is not mistaken, then such knowledge is not mistaken because it does not take the meaning of perversion as its object. If that is the case, emptiness is not impermanent, so how is attachment not mistaken? Because impermanence itself on emptiness is also empty of its own nature, how is attachment to impermanence on emptiness not perverted? That is perversion itself, this is the meaning of the statement. Because its dharma is conceptual thought itself, for example, like attachment to permanence, this is a concluding word. In this way, because there is a flaw in the statement here, the meaning of the words contrary to the meaning promised by the other party becomes apparent, for example, just as if a pot is made and is impermanent, why would a sound that is made not become impermanent? The word to be expressed here is that, from the ultimate point of view, knowing that form is impermanent is perverted, because it is conceptual thought itself. For example, like knowing that form is permanent. If knowing that conditioned phenomena are empty, then those with conceptual thought are uncertain, if you say so, that is also without fault because it is perverted. If that is the case, then the wisdom of emptiness itself cannot attain liberation, because it is perverted, for example, like knowing the objects of the internal sense bases to be pleasure, etc., if you say so, then what is the meaning of the promise here? If you say that knowing the eye to be empty does not attain liberation, then this is establishing what has already been established, because liberation is attained by non-conceptual wisdom. If it is said to be non-conceptual, then it is not established as being the wisdom of perversion itself, so the meaning of the reason is not established. If you say that the wisdom of emptiness, even if it is non-conceptual, does not attain liberation, because it is non-conceptual, for example, like the consciousness of a child's eye, if you say so, then one's own

Because for that, the meaning of the reason is uncertain. Because those (wisdoms) arising from cessation, wisdom, and cultivation are uncertain. For oneself, the meaning of the reason is also not established. Because the wisdom of emptiness is also a discrimination of self-nature. It cannot be harmed by inference either, because there is no example for oneself. Furthermore, what is the meaning of saying "not a cause for attaining liberation"? If it is said that "it does not produce liberation," then it is a re-establishment of what is already established. Because liberation is not something created. If it is said that "it does not know as it is," then it is uncertain for oneself, because the wisdom of direct perception is uncertain. By this, it should also be understood that an answer has been given to those who say, "Non-discriminating wisdom is also inverted wisdom, because it is non-discriminating, like eye consciousness." If those who say that direct perception is with discrimination say this: "Direct perception is with discrimination, because it is consciousness and it is valid, like inferential consciousness," then to these people, it should also be said: "The direct perception mind of Devadatta is without discrimination, because it is the object of direct perception of form, and it relies on the eye, like the eye consciousness of a child." Therefore, in conventional terms, those consciousnesses are uncertain, but in ultimate terms, there is no example, because consciousnesses such as inference are also extremely peaceful, and are the same in that they are characterized by one taste. What is said in passing is sufficient, and should be determined according to the situation. Just as holding impermanence as permanence is inverted, so too, holding self and happiness, impurity and self, suffering and impurity should also be said to be inverted. Others fabricate the meaning of what is promised and say: "Holding only exists, because there is a holder, a grasper, and a grasped. Here, for what does not exist, there are not these three, like a rabbit's horn. Inverted.
