Thus. One does not focus on the interval endowed with Bodhi. Why is that? Because all phenomena are suppressed by the power of the utmost, there is no object of focus. Because there is not even a small part of the phenomena to be grasped that would become the object of focus for these. As for the one who completely suppresses with the power of the utmost, like this, form is not the domain of form, and even up to consciousness is not the domain of consciousness. Because the one who completely suppresses with the power of the utmost is not a domain, form does not know or see form. Even up to consciousness does not know or see consciousness. Whatever does not know or see form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, this is the Perfection of Wisdom, so it is said. Thus, the condition of focus has also been examined. Now, since it is time for the immediately preceding condition, it should be examined. In this case, since all phenomena are completely negated in all ways in the ultimate sense, it has already been shown that phenomena are not born, therefore. If phenomena are not born, then cessation is not reasonable. Because of non-arising, it is like refuting the second head. What fault does that have? Therefore, the immediately preceding is not reasonable. In the ultimate sense, it is contradictory to the very fact that it is not established in the ultimate sense. Or, even if one generally accepts arising, it should be explained. In this case, the immediately preceding is this: if one thinks that the cessation of the aggregates of mind and mental factors is the immediately preceding condition, then that is also not reasonable as a condition for the arising of aggregates, because of cessation, just as after consciousness has ceased for a long time, or like form. In that case, if it has ceased, what is the condition? That is only something that cannot be a condition, because what has ceased cannot help those who want things to arise, so it is considered. The word "also" is for the purpose of summarizing the negation that it is not only the immediately preceding condition, but also not a general condition. If it is said that when things arise by the power of individually determined causes and conditions, the one that ceases opens up the opportunity, so for the sake of helping, and if it is said that the immediately preceding

If it is said that there is no fault because the nature of the condition is accomplished. Because non-form dharmas do not reside in a place. Moreover, it is said in the sutra: 'The six that have just ceased, which consciousness is the mind.' Therefore, the mind that has just ceased is the condition, so it cannot be used as an answer. If one thinks that cessation is the nature of the condition, some say: Because they are simultaneous, it cannot be an immediate condition. Others say that the second half of the verse: 'Therefore it is not immediate, when it ceases, which is the condition?' This is also said to the unborn. The word 'also' should be regarded here as related to the unborn. The destruction of seeds and sprouts, and the unborn, because they do not exist, the cessation and arising of seeds and sprouts will become causeless, this is how it is explained. That is not good, if that reason is admitted, the cessation of cessation has no cause, because it is impermanent, if it is thought to arise from that, if it is thought to be born, cessation and arising will become causeless. From the opposite point of view, there is no fault as mentioned above. At that time, because it is a flawed statement, what will happen when the meaning of the statement to be established and the opposite of the established is revealed? Cessation is not a condition, because it has a cause. Arising also has the cause of the aggregation of mind and mental factors not being destroyed, because it has a cause. That is also unreasonable, because for the former, the reason is not established. For the latter, because it contradicts the former tenet, because it prevents arising from everything. Thus, that verse also becomes the fault of the reason itself not being accomplished, or the fault of contradicting the meaning, because it abandons the immediate condition. Thus, the immediate condition has also been analyzed. Now it is time for the dominant condition, so it must be analyzed. You think that whatever exists, whatever arises, that is the dominant condition. Here, for our school, because it has been shown that there is no arising in the ultimate sense, so all phenomena have not obtained their own nature, and are empty of nature like illusions, therefore it is said: For those phenomena that have no nature, what exists because it is not existence? Or is it not existence itself?
