Having a result and not having a result, and because the cause of the nature of both is bestowed, how can it be a cause that establishes? If that is the case, it is unreasonable. That is not an establishing cause, this is merely the meaning of the words. Therefore, in the ultimate truth, what is to be established and the establisher itself are not established, therefore the meaning of the argument is not established, and it is contradictory. Others say that the Madhyamaka treatises completely adopt the form of non-image, therefore it is to show the absence of self-nature, therefore there are two things to be refuted: attachment to speech and attachment to what is said. Among them, by negating birth, attachment to what is said is negated. Wanting to negate attachment to speech, therefore it is said: When the Dharma is existent, non-existent, and both existent and non-existent are not established, how can it be a cause that establishes? If that is the case, it is unreasonable. This is what is said. The concise meaning of this is that if you want to be a cause for establishing, then the result cannot be existent, nor can it be non-existent, nor can it be the nature of both, therefore there is no agent that enters into being spoken of as a cause, therefore the cause of the cause itself is unreasonable, therefore things are only born, because there is a cause, saying this is not established. Others say that in the ultimate truth, things are only born, because there is a cause, saying that things are neither existent, nor non-existent, nor the nature of both, because it is not clearly established, therefore the characteristic of the cause is unreasonable, therefore the meaning of the argument is not established. That is not good, because it has already been answered. Thus, for the time being, the cause of the cause is unreasonable. How the condition of the objective condition is also unreasonable, it should be examined in this way: This existing Dharma, with this as the objective condition, is shown to be only non-existent. Among them, existing is a synonym for changing. Dharma is for holding its own characteristic. This refers to showing eye consciousness and so on placed on taste. Objective condition refers to those that are to be the objective condition, objective condition refers to what is taken.

This is about the meaning of "without object." The so-called "only without object" means being in the state of without object. How is it without object? Because in the ultimate truth, their (referring to phenomena) arising is prevented. For things that are arising, there is also no object, because they are arising, just like form. Therefore, this dharma that exists in this way is closely shown as only without object. The so-called "with object" is for establishing the system of conventional truth. With what object does it arise? Because the things that appear in it arise, it is called with object. It is not like a wealthy person, who is only related at the same time. Therefore, "dharma is without object in this way" is because there is nothing that can be an object in the ultimate truth. If someone thinks that the object itself that is not an object is completely examined, that is also unreasonable. How can there be an object? The meaning of the words here is that it is only without object. For example, just like someone who commits the five heinous crimes, how can there be direct realization? Even so, that reason itself is not established, and it is contradictory in meaning. Others also apply refutations with similar examinations, such as "form is without object, because it belongs to the aggregate of form." If the scriptures say, "What are the dharmas without object? They are form and nirvana," then if one admits that mind and mental factors are without object, then the statement "What are the dharmas with object? For example, mind and mental factors" is unreasonable to admit. That is unreasonable because it is for establishing an example. Even if one states as a reason something that is not transformed by arising, there is no example. If one thinks that the object is the object, and thinks about those meanings, then the object of mind and mental factors themselves will be prevented, because as it is said, in the ultimate truth, it is not admitted that consciousness is the object. The Bhagavan also subdues with great power. Furthermore, when a Bodhisattva acts in that way, he does not focus on form.
