My natural cessation is only because it ceases by itself. The agent of its cessation is not fire. Furthermore, if they exist, then what is said, "there is nothing to be destroyed that can be grasped," is also because, the ungraspable is established by the arising of a continuum of different characteristics. If snow, salt, fire, hammer, etc., exist, then the shapes of flowers, fruits, trees, bottles, etc., are ungraspable, this does not prove that they are the cause of destruction. If someone thinks that something is the cause of destruction of something, then it is not the cause of its destruction, because it has a cause, like the self-nature of fire. Because one wants to completely avoid becoming many words, one should not interrupt, but should examine the present moment. Thus, for the time being, arising without destruction is not existent. Arising is also not coexistent with destruction. Therefore it is said: How can arising be coexistent with destruction? Like birth and death at the same time, it is unreasonable. The meaning here is the same as before. Therefore, if one examines it completely in this way, then, which are mutually simultaneous, or mutually non-simultaneous, existence is not established, arising and destruction. Because those other ways of being established are also non-existent, in order to show that those ways of being established are impossible, it is said, how do those being established exist? Those being established are non-existent, this is the meaning of the words. Therefore, because it is the cause of arising and destruction, the meaning of this reason is not established. Here it is said, although a thing is of the nature of destruction, it does not immediately perish upon arising, thus, existing immediately upon arising becomes arising, and after that it becomes destruction. Here it is said: There is no arising in exhaustion. Because two incompatible dharmas do not arise at the same time, like birth and death. If it does not become exhausted immediately upon arising, then, in that case, it is not the nature of exhaustion, therefore, in the conventional, the form as spoken is not established, and there is no arising for the unexhausted. Thus it is said. Similarly, there is no destruction in exhaustion.

Now. For that which has the nature of being exhausted, there is no destruction in that which possesses destruction, because permanence becomes meaningless there, just like that which has the nature of death. There is no destruction in that which is not exhausted either, because that is not its own nature, like liberation, that is its kina. Here it is said that arising and ceasing are only existent, because they are the nature of things. Here, whatever is non-existent is not the nature of things, like the horns of a rabbit. Arising and ceasing are the nature of things, therefore, they are only existent. Here it is said, if in the ultimate truth something has arising and ceasing, then it is also reasonable to call it a thing, because they do not exist, therefore, without arising and ceasing, a thing does not exist. Because it is the nature of things and arising and ceasing, it is thought to be so. Because it is non-existent, the meaning of the reason is not established. Similarly, if a thing is non-existent, arising and ceasing do not exist, because there is only no basis, therefore the dependent cannot be established, it is thought to be so. Or, because it is the nature of things, there is another way to refute this reason, to say briefly, some debaters think that things are not existent, and that there are arising and ceasing in the emptiness of self-nature, for those debaters it is said that arising and ceasing in emptiness are not reasonable, because they will be harmed by inference. Some debaters think that things are existent, and that there are arising and ceasing in the non-emptiness of self-nature, for those debaters it is said that arising and ceasing in non-emptiness are also not reasonable, because there is no existence by one's own self-nature, because they do not possess those, and because they will be harmed by inference. Therefore, the fault of not establishing the meaning of the reason, and the fault of contradictory meaning, will become those themselves. Or, there is another way to refute, are arising and ceasing the same? Or do they become different? To this, neither is possible.
