Because I have pointed out that the body and the senses are without self, therefore I say that non-self has also been pointed out. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, knows all dharmas, and those who enter into the hidden and unmanifest have shown that there is neither self nor non-self, therefore it is said: The Buddhas have shown that neither self nor non-self exists. This is because they have well understood the non-elaborate nature of all dharmas, and have abandoned the attachment to self and non-self, and have known that there is no cause for the arising of the discrimination of self and non-self. Therefore, by clinging to the discrimination of self and non-self, there will be no universal discrimination towards form and so on. As it is said, with great force completely suppressing, form is neither self nor non-self. Similarly, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are also neither self nor non-self. Form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, whatever is neither self nor non-self, that is Prajnaparamita. The elaboration that was previously said to be stopped by emptiness, now it will be explained how it is stopped by emptiness: For this, arising from the understanding of what is to be said, is the immeasurable elaboration of the nature of speech. The nature of all things, with the characteristic of extreme stillness, emptiness like the sky, manifests in a way that cannot be manifested, and seeing that all things are unspeakable, what is to be said will cease, that is, there is no cause for the arising of speech. How will what is to be said cease? It is the cessation of the object of the mind. This is the remainder of the phrase "because of what". The object of the mind is the object of the mind, that is, form and so on. That is also because it is not completely established in the ultimate truth. The object of the mind is said to be a thing, because it shows its own nature and the common nature. Cessation is cessation.
