Because it is not endowed with conditions, because the arising of what exists and does not exist will be prevented later. If it is said in this way from the ultimate point of view, then because it is born from action, the meaning of the reason is not established. In general, even if it is said in this way, it is contradictory in meaning, because the action of the nature of consciousness arising, which is endowed with conditions, is the object of knowledge in the conventional, because if it does not exist, it will not arise. To this, Others, what use is it to us that all other things arise from self and other, etc.? For example, the eye, etc., is the condition for the action of the arising of eye consciousness, just as bran, etc., is the condition for cooking, in order to refute the statement that things arise, it is said that "action is not endowed with conditions." Because for consciousness that has arisen, has not arisen, and is arising, the action of producing consciousness is unreasonable, thus it is distinguished. That is unreasonable, because both the former and the latter are merely promises. Here, fabricating the meaning of refutation, it is said, if because action has not arisen, therefore action is not endowed with conditions, therefore there is no example, but temporarily action exists, therefore how there is concomitance, one should speak of inferential concomitance, the action of producing consciousness is to produce its own fruit, because it is action, just like the action of cooking rice. Here it is said, there is no action without conditions. There is not a single action that has not been distinguished by being without conditions, because it is the same as before, it will become the same fault as just said. Others say the meaning of the verse differently, for which side, the action of arising has become the nature of consciousness, therefore, it is said that "action is not endowed with conditions." Because the action of arising consciousness is non-existent like consciousness, therefore for the non-existent, the condition of having meaning is also unreasonable. For which side, it is not transformed into self-nature, the self-nature is established, therefore, it is said that "there is no action without conditions." Condition

They say that because they do not possess conditions, they have no self-nature. Some say that since the conditions help each other, the moment immediately after can produce the effect of the fruit, and the moment of obtaining self-nature, things are produced. Because the name of production is not abandoned, it is not non-existent, and the conditions of possessing meaning are not unreasonable. Merely establishing a proposition can refute other propositions, so that is not the reason. Others who speak of arising refute that the eye, etc., are only what produce eye consciousness, because they possess function, just as seeds, soil, water, fire, wind, etc., produce sprouts. Therefore, later arguments will not harm the previously stated inferences. Here it is said, not possessing function is not a condition. Because this prevents arising in the ultimate sense, because there is no function, the conditions such as seeds do not possess it, and those that do not possess function are not suitable as conditions, because they have not been established as conditions, so the example is incomplete, and later arguments will not harm it. Here it is said, in the ultimate sense, grains, etc., alone possess function, because it is so acknowledged in the conventional sense. Whatever is acknowledged in the conventional sense is also the same in the ultimate sense, just as a rabbit's horn does not exist. You also acknowledge that grains, etc., possess function in the conventional sense, therefore the example is established, so the desired is established. Here it is said, possessing function or not, this is the case of saying no. Even so, the conditions will not be established as possessing function, because even in name, the rabbit's horn is not established as possessing function. Because in the ultimate sense, the rabbit's horn has not been established as non-existent. Therefore, the fault as previously stated is not non-existent. If the Samkhya school refutes that the non-existence of the rabbit's horn is only an existing entity, in order to show this, and it is the basis of difference, like color and a blue lotus, then that is not good, because in the ultimate sense, both color and a blue lotus exist
