It has been explained, because it appears as transformation, this is a concluding word. The Blessed One said "false" because it shows that all things are without self-nature, and are the self-nature of necessarily not abiding. It should be examined in this way: non-self-nature is non-thing. Then what is it like? It is that which possesses self-nature. According to your view, all things will become without self-nature, which is unreasonable. Because all things are emptiness. Because all things are separated from self and what belongs to self, therefore it is called emptiness, but it is not that there are no things, therefore, it should be known that things exist. If you do not think so, if there is no self-nature, then what is the transformation of? This is also visible, therefore things have transformation, this is the dharma to be established, therefore it can be inferred: from the ultimate truth, things have self-nature because they transform. Here, what does not exist will not have transformation, like the son of a barren woman. Internal things have transformation, therefore from the ultimate truth, things have self-nature. Here it is said, if it has self-nature, then how does it transform? Having self-nature cannot transform, because self-nature will not perish. Transformation is visible, and this will not happen in the case of non-self-nature, therefore this is contrary to the meaning of the argument. Others say that the meaning of "deceptive dharma" is the meaning of false appearance, but not the meaning of no thing. Saying "false" is because it shows that all things are without self-nature, that is, without self, because the word "self-nature" is the meaning of "self". Why? Because transformation appears. Because the transformation appears, this is a concluding word. Therefore, saying "false" is because of no self, if there is no self, it will not happen, therefore it is showing no self, but not showing emptiness. For those who have not generated the noble path and have not eradicated the view of the perishable aggregates,

That is, inner and outer objects appear as self and what belongs to self. For those who have generated the noble path, it does not become an object of experience in that way. Therefore, because of the inverted appearance of self and what belongs to self, the Blessed One said it is false. If those who claim non-inherent existence assert that the self and what belongs to self, which are completely imputed by non-Buddhists, do not exist, then it is proving what is already proven. If they assert that inherent existence is emptiness, then like the body of a woman conjured by a magician, the so-called emptiness of inherent existence, because it does not have the characteristic of non-existence of things, therefore, since the reason exists only in the dissimilar class, it is contradictory in meaning. Here it is said: You who claim non-inherent existence, like a rabbit's horn, impute non-inherent existence and become universally frightened, just as children at night impute their own shadows as ghosts and utter fearful sounds. If those who claim non-inherent existence assert that the self, which is completely imputed by non-Buddhists, is without self, then it is proving what is already proven, and so on. However, listen! If the self, which is completely imputed by non-Buddhists, is neither different from them nor the same as them, therefore, for them, the object of non-self, the so-called non-selfness, is what is shown by the Blessed One's saying that it is false. Even if it is like that, it is easy. If a reason is applied to show that things are empty of inherent existence, then the selflessness of persons is also shown because it does not arise without it. For example, just as applying the reason of being made to show impermanence also shows suffering and so on because they do not arise without it, so too, emptiness of inherent existence is also shown. What harm is there to us? The nature of deception also does not arise without it. Like the body of a woman conjured by a magician, that also seems contradictory. Conditioned things do not have otherness, the truth of the viewer and
