Furthermore, if grass and the like exist, if this becomes true, then ignorance will not arise for anyone. Even if I exist, it is form, appearing to arise from elsewhere, appearing to exist elsewhere, and appearing to perish from elsewhere. Just as from a seed that has been made, a sprout that has been made will arise, similarly, all impermanent things will arise from impermanent things. Because things will disappear, therefore they will not be cut off, and because things will return, therefore they will not be permanent. In the Four Hundred Verses on Yoga Practice, the teaching on contemplating the negation of self, which is the tenth chapter. The future pot, the present pot does not exist, and the past does not exist. Because these two are future, therefore the future does not exist. If destruction exists in the nature of the future, then what exists in the future itself, how will it become the past? Because future things exist in the nature of the future, therefore it will become the present, the future itself is impossible. The future exists, the past exists, the present exists, what does not exist? If everything exists at all times, then from where does its impermanence come? What has become past from the past, why will it become past? What has not become past from the past, why will it become past? If the future has already arisen, why will it not become the present? If it has not arisen, will the future become permanent? Even if it has not arisen, if the future will perish, the past has no destruction, then why will it not be considered permanent? The past and the present, these are not impermanent, nor will they change, other than these, a third form does not exist either. If a thing arises later, if it existed before, then the views of the Tirthikas will not be reversed. That which is able to produce things, should not be called pre-existent, if existent things will arise, then things that have already arisen will also arise. If you see future things, why do you not see non-existent things? If the future exists, then distance does not exist. Even if there is no action, the Dharma exists, then the vows are meaningless. Even if you do a little, it is impossible for the fruit to exist.

If impermanent, how can It be said to have a result? Whatever has a beginning and an end, That is said to be the impermanence of the world. Without calculation, it becomes a fallacy, Liberation has no future. If that is so, in the absence of attachment, Attachment will also arise. For those who want to have a result, And for those who want to have no result, For the sake of the house, the pillars, etc., The ornaments will become meaningless. When things completely change, The mind also cannot grasp them. Even so, the present Existence is understood by the unwise. Where is the thing without a dwelling? Because of impermanence, where is there a dwelling? If it first becomes a dwelling, It will not become old in the end. Just as one consciousness cannot Distinguish two meanings, Similarly, two consciousnesses cannot Distinguish one meaning. If There is a dwelling in time, The dwelling will not become time. If there is no dwelling, then the dwelling Does not exist, and there will be no end. If impermanence is different from things, Things will not become impermanent. If it is one, where is impermanence? That is the thing, how can there be a dwelling? Where impermanence is weak, If the dwelling is not weak, From the outside, those can certainly be known. With what can the opposite be seen? If impermanence is not weak, If it exists in all things, Then there is no dwelling in all, Or all are not impermanent. If impermanence always exists, Then there is never a dwelling. Or it has already become permanent, And then it becomes impermanent. If the dwelling and impermanence Exist together in things, Then impermanence will become inverted, Or the dwelling will become false. The thing that has been seen does not appear, And the mind does not arise again, therefore, What is called memory is inverted, For the meaning, there is only inversion. In the Four Hundred Verses on Yoga Practice, the explanation of the contemplation of refuting time, that is, the eleventh chapter. A fair-minded, wise, and meaning-seeking Listener is said to be a vessel. The qualities of the speaker will not Change, nor will they change for the listener. Existence and the means of existence, the peaceful Means, and likewise peace, are spoken of, What the whole world does not understand, That appears like the view of the Sage. By abandoning everything, from sorrow To pass beyond, all the wonderful ones desire. Everything is
