There is no harm, therefore, for it, there is no difference between existence and nirvana. For whom, at all times, the mind is free, arising from oneself, then, by what cause would the world not become the ruler of all? From the excellent to the more excellent, some also appear in this world. Therefore, one should realize that inconceivable power certainly exists. For the foolish, towards the profound Dharma, fear arises, just as for the weak, towards the wondrous Dharma, fear arises. The fifth chapter of the Four Hundred Verses on Yoga Practice, which reveals the practice of the Bodhisattva. Happiness increases desire, and suffering increases anger, why is happiness not an ascetic, and why is suffering an ascetic? The action of desire is accumulation, the action of anger is strife, like wind to all things, the action of ignorance is nourishment. From not encountering arises desire, from the accumulation of suffering arises anger, from not knowing completely arises ignorance, they do not understand them. Just as when the body has bile disease, seeing that they do not meet together, similarly, seeing anger and desire, they do not meet together. Desire should be used like a servant, because one does not spare it, for its medicine. Anger should be regarded like a king, because one spares its medicine. First, ignorance truly arises, in the middle, anger arises, and later, desire arises, there are three stages in a day. Desire is not a friend, but like a friend, therefore you are not afraid of it, a friend who does not benefit, especially, should not a person abandon it? Desire arises from a cause, and also arises from a condition, whatever desire arises from a condition, that is not another thing that is easy to accomplish. Anger is firm and certainly does unwholesome great sins, thus, by distinguishing and knowing in all ways, one will completely destroy afflictions. Just as the body's sense organs are in the body, ignorance dwells in all, therefore, all afflictions are destroyed by destroying ignorance. If one sees dependent origination, ignorance will not arise. Therefore, everyone should strive, here, to speak only that word. Always grasping at earth, etc.

Auspicious! Givers and eaters both become pure. Such characteristics appear to those with attachment. The Buddhas, for those with attachment, food and Dharma robes, monasteries, all abandoned virtues, constantly dwell in the presence of the Guru, it is said. Being angry at the powerless only makes oneself ugly. One who has no compassion for any ability is said to be inferior. Unpleasant sounds are said to be the end of past sins. The ignorant and non-holy do not desire themselves to be completely pure. Pleasant and unpleasant sounds do not inherently cause harm. Therefore, what arises from discrimination is arrogantly thought to be from others. Just as one who whips, explicitly states that punishment is due, why should one who speaks well not be honored? Even if you have not spoken words of blame, if others know, if it is not appropriate to be angry at the speaker, what about one who speaks untruthfully? Saying that inferior words are unpleasant is not necessarily the case. Therefore, unpleasantness arising from inferiority appears like a small amount of embers. If harming others does not bring any merit to oneself, your anger towards the meritless is merely respect and attachment. If great merit can be obtained effortlessly through patience, who would obstruct it? Who is as foolish as that? Anger, in particular, does not arise in the powerful. Therefore, why are you so respectful of anger that gathers others? Whoever is patient in the face of anger will develop meditation. Saying that there is fear in the realm of virtue is only your foolishness. Who, having made an end to contempt, has a way to go to the next world? Therefore, I think that contempt is better than sin, contempt is good. By what is the abode of consciousness, etc., truly said to be consciousness? If that exists, then afflictions will never dwell in wisdom. In the Four Hundred Verses on Yoga Practice, the method of abandoning afflictions is taught, which is the sixth chapter. This ocean of suffering has no end in any way. Child, you are drowning in this, why do you not feel fear? Youth has passed, and will come again, and the dwelling will also
