Then, destruction is not reasonable. Why is that? Like this: Things and non-things, In one entity, it is not reasonable. The existence of a thing's existence is the existence of a thing. The non-existence of a thing's destruction is the non-existence of a thing. Things and non-things contradict each other, how can these two be one entity? Therefore, for the existence of a thing, destruction is not reasonable; for what has become a non-thing, destruction is also not reasonable. How so? Just like having two heads, It cannot be cut off. For a non-existent thing, what will be destroyed? Just like the non-existent two heads cannot be cut off. For what is said as "destruction of destruction," it should be explained like this: The destruction of destruction, other and, Itself also cannot be destroyed. For this, if destruction has destruction, then will it be destroyed by the nature of others or its own nature? Neither is reasonable. How so? Just like arising, itself and, Is not born from others. As it is said: "This arising, because it is unborn, How does its own nature arise? If the arising arises, After arising, what else needs to arise?" Just like this, destruction is also not destroyed, will its own nature be destroyed? Will the destroyed own nature be destroyed? For this, if it is thought that destruction is not destroyed, its own nature will be destroyed, then how is that reasonable? When it is not destroyed, it is not destruction itself, how can the nature of nothingness be destroyed? If it is thought that destruction is destroyed, its own nature will be destroyed, then how is that reasonable? For destruction, there is nothing to be destroyed, the own nature of destruction that will be destroyed. Therefore, the extinguishing of a flame, It is not reasonable for it to be extinguished by its own nature. It is also not reasonable by the nature of others. As it is said: "If arising is from another arising, Then it will become endless. If no arising arises, Everything will arise in the same way." Just like this, is destruction also destroyed by another destruction? Is it destroyed without another destruction? For this, if des

If that cessation is ceased by another cessation, then it would become endless, because that is also ceased by another cessation, and that is also ceased by another cessation, thus it would become endless, which is not desirable. Therefore, the cessation of cessation is unreasonable. If it is thought that that cessation ceases without another cessation, then it should be explained: If cessation ceases without cessation, then everything will cease in the same way. Just as that cessation ceases without another cessation, so too all conditioned phenomena will cease without another cessation, because cessation causes other cessation. Then, what is the use of this meaningless discrimination? Or, in this way, cessation itself ceases without another cessation, while other phenomena do not cease without cessation. If it is necessary to show the reason for the difference, but it is not done, therefore, cessation is not ceased by another cessation. Therefore, if it is observed in that way, birth, abiding, and decay are all unreasonable, and if they are unreasonable, how can they become the characteristics of conditioned phenomena? Therefore, birth, abiding, and decay are the characteristics of conditioned phenomena, which is just discrimination. The speaker said: Even if the common characteristics of conditioned phenomena are not established, conditioned phenomena exist only by their respective characteristics, for example, just as a cow exists by the characteristics of neck flesh, tail, hooves, toes, and horns. The respondent said: Are you not generating wrong views and proclaiming it is good? Are you showing the characteristics of conditioned phenomena in the absence of birth, abiding, and decay? Birth, abiding, and decay, if they are not established, then there are no conditioned phenomena. In this way, if birth, abiding, and decay are fully established, then conditioned phenomena will also be fully established, but they are not fully established, because birth, abiding, and decay are not established, and if there are no conditioned phenomena, then what will become the characteristics of? Because there are no characteristics, conditioned phenomena are unreasonable. The speaker said: Phenomena are not necessarily fully established only by characteristics, but phenomena can also be fully established by antidotes, therefore, as an antidote to conditioned phenomena, there is unconditioned phenomena, and because that exists, conditioned phenomena are also fully established. The respondent said: Are you looking for the sun with a lamp?
