If we examine with reason, if the result is not self-existent, then karma does not exist. If karma does not exist, then the agent does not exist. If karma and the agent do not exist, then the result does not exist. If the result does not exist, then the enjoyer does not exist, therefore it is peaceful. Furthermore, in order to correctly see the emptiness of karma, if one can understand well, karma will not arise, and if karma does not exist, then whatever arises from karma will not arise. Therefore, if one can understand well the cause of seeing emptiness, that is, the self-nature emptiness of karma, then karma will not arise. If that karma does not exist, then whatever arises from that karma will not arise. Here someone says: Now is it only non-existent? Or are some things existent? Here it is said that it is existent. If asked: How is it existent? Just like the Bhagavan Tathagata, who performs transformations by means of miraculous powers, and while the transformation is taking place, he transforms other transformations. From that, the Tathagata's transformation is empty, what need is there to mention the transformation transformed by the transformation? Whether it is merely conceptualization, whatever it may be, both of those are existent. Similarly, the agent is similar to transformation, and karma is similar to the transformation transformed by the transformation. Self-nature is empty, whether it is merely conceptualization, whatever it may be, it is existent. Just as the Bhagavan Tathagata performs transformations by means of miraculous powers, and while the transformation is taking place, he transforms other transformations, so too, karma should be understood in this way. Among them, for the time being, if the Tathagata's transformation is also self-nature empty, what need is there to mention the other transformations transformed by the transformation? Just as merely conceptualization, whatever it may be, exists in both, so too is karma. Furthermore, if karma is self-existent, then from Nirvana there is no agent. If it does not exist, then the result produced by karma, suffering and happiness, does not exist. If karma is self-existent, then after karma's self-nature is established, there is no Nirvana. Furthermore, the agent of karma also does not exist. Why? Because even without an agent, karma can be perfectly accomplished. If self-nature does not exist, then the result produced by karma, whatever is suffering and happiness, also does not exist. Here someone says: In the Sutra Pitaka it is widely said that karma exists, so how can it become non-existent? Here it is said: Saying existent, it is also said to be existent and non-existent, saying existent, it is also said to be existent and non-existent.

Exists. If the Buddhas contemplate, what is said is not easy to understand. What is meant by saying "exists" can also be investigated. What is meant by saying "does not exist" can also be investigated. What is meant by saying "exists and does not exist" is only investigation. What the Buddhas say with intention is not easy to understand in any way. Here it is said: Here it is believed that form is transformed from arising, so it exists, and the remaining non-form dharmas also exist accordingly. Here it is said: If form arises from arising, then form arises and changes from the real and unreal. Not from its own nature, because it does not exist, not from others. If it is believed that form is transformed from arising, then form arises from what is real, and what is called unreal is said from non-self. Thus, form is not from its own nature. Here it is said: It is so, not from its own nature, but from others, and the arising are also like that. Here it is said: Because it does not exist, it is not from others. Form is not from others. Why? Because it does not exist, so the other does not exist, so the other does not exist. How? In this way, because its own nature is not established, it is not reasonable to know from others. It is not reasonable to know from the other of non-existence. Non-existence is not called the other. Also, because those great elements themselves do not exist, if one wants to establish what arises from the characteristics here, then those characteristics should not be established before the arising. The basis of the unestablished characteristics, the arising, is also not established. One is not four, and four are not one. The four great elements are without support. How can form be formed? Therefore, there is no one in the four, and there is no four in the one. Relying on the non-existence of the four great elements, how can form be formed? What is called non-existence is said to be non-existence. Also, if one does not cling very much, and knows from the sign, then that sign does not exist. Because it acts from cause and condition, even if it exists, it is not reasonable to be without a sign. Extremely not
