The Blessed One said that falsity means that things do not have the self-nature of a person, but it does not mean that dharmas do not have self-nature. Here it says, if self-nature exists, how can it become other? If the self-nature of dharma exists, then how can it become other? Because there is no change. Also, there is no other change in itself, and it does not exist in the other itself. Because the young do not become old, and because old age does not become old. In this regard, if things are admitted, then there are two kinds of changes to other: does it change itself, or does the other change? Neither is reasonable. Why? Because the young do not become old, and the old do not become old. Here it says, if it becomes other, what fault will it have? Here it says, if this itself becomes other, then the milk itself will become yogurt. If it becomes other, then the milk itself will become yogurt, which is unreasonable. If someone thinks that the other becomes the other, then it should be said to him: From what other than milk, what thing will become yogurt? If you think that the other becomes the other, then from what other than milk, what thing will become yogurt? Therefore, neither is reasonable. Here it says, then, is the so-called emptiness now the ultimate? Here it says, if non-emptiness exists slightly, then emptiness will also exist slightly. If non-emptiness does not exist slightly, then how can emptiness exist? If non-emptiness exists slightly, then its antidote emptiness will also exist slightly. If non-emptiness does not exist slightly, because there is no antidote to it, then how can emptiness exist? Also, the Buddhas said that emptiness is the liberation of all views. Those who view emptiness are incurable. The Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, said that emptiness is the antidote to all views, and therefore it is liberated from all views. Therefore, those who view emptiness are incurable, because thinking

Like a crest jewel on a firm head. This is called "Examination of Reality," the thirteenth chapter. Volume Four. Here it is said: Things are only self-existent, because encounters are seen in the world. Here it is explained: Previously, in the examination of the faculties, it was thoroughly investigated that actions are not appropriate for the three—the object of sight, the act of seeing, and the seer—because they themselves lack otherness, and it should be shown how it is inappropriate for them to encounter and not encounter each other. To this, with what reasoning should it be explained? The object of sight, the act of seeing, the seer, these three, two by two, and all, mutually, there is no possibility of encountering. The object of sight is the object of the senses. The act of seeing is the senses. The seer is the self. The object of sight, the act of seeing, and the seer, these three, two by two, and all, mutually will not encounter, the object of sight and the act of seeing will not encounter, the object of sight and the seer will not encounter, the act of seeing and the seer will not encounter, the object of sight, the act of seeing, and the seer will not encounter, like a lamp and darkness. Similarly, desire, attachment, and, the one who becomes attached, and afflictions, the remaining ones also, of the aggregates, the remaining ones also, look at them in three ways. Just as the object of sight, the act of seeing, and the seer, two by two, and all, mutually will not encounter together, so too, desire and attachment, and, the self that becomes attached, also two by two, and all, mutually will not encounter together, desire and attachment will not encounter, desire and the one who becomes attached will not encounter, attachment and the one who becomes attached will not encounter, desire and attachment and the one who becomes attached will not encounter. Similarly, the remaining afflictions, such as hatred and so forth, and the remaining aggregates, such as sound and, the listener and so forth, also two by two, and all, mutually will not encounter together, it should be observed in three ways. Here it is said: Why do those, such as the object of sight, not encounter each other mutually? Here it is said: If in another, it encounters another, why for the object of sight
