It is also unreasonable. Furthermore, if all things always have the nature of aging and death, then what things exist without aging and death? If all things always have the nature of aging and death, then what are those things that exist without aging and death? Also, existence cannot exist by other existences, nor by itself. Just as birth is not born from oneself and others. Just as it has been thoroughly examined before that birth is not produced by oneself and others, similarly, existence cannot exist by existence itself and other things. Now, cessation is also unreasonable. Why? It is said: Cessation does not cause cessation, non-cessation also does not cease, what is ceasing is also not like that, how does the unborn cease? For the time being, what is cessation, that will not cease again, because it has already ceased. What is non-cessation, that also will not cease, because it is separated from the function of cessation. Apart from these two, the third one called ceasing also does not cease because it does not exist. Having thoroughly examined it with reason in this way, how does the unborn cease? Furthermore, for the time being, cessation is unreasonable for existing things. Cessation is also unreasonable for non-existing things. For the time being, what is an existing thing, then for it, cessation is unreasonable. Why? Because existence exists? Or will existence and cessation become two? What is a non-existing thing, then for it, cessation is also unreasonable. Why? Because it is separated from existence and does not exist. Also, existing in that state will not cease in that state. Existing in other states will also not cease in other states. Here, for what thing is cessation examined, then that state itself and the other two states will not become cessation. Why? Milk will not cease in the state of milk, because as long as it is milk, it will not become cessation, and it will not cease in the state of not being milk, when

Because when it is not that, nothing will cease. Also, furthermore, when all dharmas ' arising is not reasonable, Then all dharmas' ceasing is also not reasonable. When thoroughly examined with reason, when the arising of all dharmas is not reasonable, the cessation of all dharmas is also not reasonable. Also, furthermore, for a while, when a thing exists, ceasing is not reasonable. Existence and non-existence of things are not reasonable in one self. Regarding this, also thoroughly examine with reason, for a while, when a thing exists, cessation is not reasonable. Why is that? Because it is not reasonable for existence and non-existence of things to exist in one self. Also, furthermore, for something that has become non-existent, ceasing is also not reasonable. Just like for a two-headed one, it is impossible to cut off. For something that is non-existent, cessation is also not reasonable. Why is that? Because it is non-existent. Just like it is impossible to cut off a two-headed one. Also, furthermore, cessation, another cessation, and itself cannot cease. Just like arising is not produced by itself and another. Just like after thoroughly examining previously, arising is not produced by itself and another, cessation is also not reasonable for cessation to be ceased by itself and another. Arising, abiding, and ceasing, because they are not established, therefore there is no conditioned. Because the conditioned is completely not established, how can the unconditioned be established? Thus, arising, abiding, and ceasing, because those are not established, therefore there is no conditioned. Because the conditioned is completely not established, how do you think the unconditioned is established? Here it is said, if there is none of arising, abiding, and ceasing, then how is it said? Here it is said: Like a dream, like an illusion, like a city of gandharvas. Thus conduct and thus abide, thus it is said to be ceasing. Thus, arising, abiding, and ceasing, know that those are said to be like a dream, like an illusion, and like a city of gandharvas. Examination of Arising, Abiding, and Ceasing, called the Seventh Chapter. Third Volume. Here it is said, the agent and the actions, the teachings and the world and
