Why rejoice in old age and death? Samsara itself has no beginning, not only that, cause and effect, self-nature and self-characteristic, feeling and the feeler, any meaningful things, all things themselves, also have no beginning. This is called examining the beginning and end, the eleventh chapter. Some think suffering is self-made, some think it is made by others, some think it is made by both, some think it arises without a cause, this is unreasonable. If suffering is self-made, then it should not arise dependently. Because these aggregates arise dependently on aggregates. If this is different from that, if that is different from this, suffering is made by others, those others made it. If the person himself makes suffering, then who is that person who makes suffering? What is there besides suffering? If suffering arises from other persons, then who is the one who makes that suffering and gives it? What else could it be besides suffering? If suffering arises from other persons, then who is the person who, after making it, gives it to others, what else could it be besides suffering? Because it is not established as self-made, how could suffering be made by others? Whoever makes the suffering of others, that will become his self-made. In short, suffering is not self-made, nor is it made by itself. If others do not make self, how could suffering be made by others? If each one makes it, suffering will become made by both. Self did not make it, others did not make it, how could suffering be without cause? Suffering itself does not have four ways, not only that, external things also do not have four ways. This is called examining self-made and other-made, the twelfth chapter. Whatever Dharma the Bhagavan said is deceptive, that is false. All conditioned things are deceptive Dharmas, therefore they are false. If what is a deceptive Dharma, that is false, what does it deceive? The Bhagavan said this in order to fully reveal emptiness.

There is no inherent existence, because change appears. Things are not without inherent existence, because all things are emptiness. If there is no inherent existence, what changes? If there is inherent existence, how can it change? There is no change in itself, nor is there existence in another. Why does a youth not age, and why does old age not age? If it itself changes, then milk itself turns into yogurt. What is different from milk, that becomes the nature of yogurt? If there is a little non-emptiness, then there is a little emptiness. If there is no little non-emptiness, how can there be emptiness? The Victors say that emptiness is the necessary arising of all views. Those who see emptiness, they say are impossible to accomplish. This is the thirteenth chapter, called "Analysis of Production." The object of sight, the act of seeing, and the seer, these three, two by two, and all of them, do not come into contact with each other. Likewise, desire, attachment, and the object of attachment, afflictions, the remaining aggregates and the remaining sense bases, also in three ways, if they come into contact with others, why is it that the object of sight and so on, do not have that other, therefore they do not come into contact. Not only do the object of sight and so on, lack otherness, but also whatever is together with whatever, it is not reasonable to be otherness. Other depends on other to be other, without other, other does not exist. Whatever depends on what to be what, it is not reasonable for that to be different from that. If other is different from other, then at that time, without other, other becomes other. Without other, other becomes other, it does not exist, therefore it does not exist. Otherness does not exist in other, nor does it exist in non-other. If otherness does not exist, then other or that itself does not exist. That does not have contact with that, other and other also do not come into contact. The act of contacting, contact, and the contacter also do not exist. This is the fourteenth chapter, called "Analysis of Contact." Inherent nature does not arise from causes and conditions. The inherent nature that arises from causes and conditions becomes something made. How can inherent nature be called something made? Inherent nature is un-

It is not, it depends on others. If there is no own being, where would there be other objects? The own being of other objects is said to be other objects. Apart from own being and other being, where would there be an object? If own being and object exist, then the object will be established. If the object is not established, then non-object will not be established either. An object that has become other, people say is a non-object. Those who view own being, other being, object and non-object, they have not seen the Buddha's teaching. The Blessed One, with wisdom, refuted both existence and non-existence from Katyayana's teachings. If it exists by its own nature, then it will not become non-existence. The own being becoming other, will never be reasonable. If it is not own being that exists, then who becomes other? Even if own being exists, how can it become other? Saying "exists" is clinging to permanence, saying "does not exist" is seeing it as annihilation. Therefore, the wise should not dwell in existence and non-existence. Whatever exists by its own nature, it is not non-existent, therefore it is permanent. Saying that it existed before and does not exist now, therefore it will fall into annihilation. This is called the Examination of Own Being, the fifteenth chapter. If the aggregates transmigrate, if they are permanent, they will not transmigrate; if they are impermanent, they will not transmigrate either. For sentient beings, this order is also the same. If it is said that the person transmigrates, in the aggregates, sense bases, and elements, if it is sought in five ways, if it does not exist, then what will transmigrate? If one transmigrates from appropriation to appropriation, then there will be no existence. If there is no existence and no appropriation, then what will transmigrate? The aggregates entering nirvana is not reasonable in any way. Sentient beings entering nirvana is not reasonable in any way. The aggregates, which have the nature of arising and ceasing, will not be bound or liberated, just as before, sentient beings will not be bound or liberated either. If appropriation binds, then that which has appropriation will not be bound. That which does not have appropriation will not be bound, then what state will bind? If before the one to be bound, the binding exists, then it depends on the binding. That also does not exist,
