Becoming 'ra' is called 'cessation.' The essence of the Buddha, the Dharmadhatu, the ultimate truth, emptiness, has no beginning, so no end can be found. Therefore, it is called 'unborn' and 'unceased.' Even when sentient beings transmigrate through the five paths, the essence of the Buddha is not tainted, so it is called 'completely pure.' Even when one attains unsurpassed perfect enlightenment and becomes a Buddha, there is nothing more pure than the essence of the Buddha, so it is called 'without complete purity.' Even when transformed into the body of an ant or an insect, the essence of the Buddha does not become smaller, so it is called 'undiminished.' Even when transformed into the Dharmakaya, it does not increase, so it is 'unfilled.' Why? Because it transcends thought and speech and is immeasurable. In two ways, the Dharmadhatu is not born from karma and afflictions, so it is 'unborn.' If it is unborn, it will not perish, so it is 'unceasing.' The Dharmadhatu is naturally completely pure, and because it is without complete purity, it is 'without complete purity.' Although it is naturally completely pure, it is not that it will not be tainted by sudden afflictions, so it is 'pure.' Because it has abandoned all aspects of affliction, the Dharmadhatu does not diminish, so it is 'undiminished.' At the time of the increase of purification, the Dharmadhatu does not increase, so it is 'unincreased.' Above, the five aggregates were separated and shown to be empty, but if the mind still clings to the characteristic that the five aggregates are empty, then for emptiness, there is no difference, so it is not appropriate to establish names such as form. In order to eliminate the clinging to the characteristic of names, it is said that emptiness is not form, not feeling, and so on. The five aggregates are empty in their essence, transcending names and establishments, and are of the nature of non-duality. Because the characteristics established as form, etc., do not exist, it is said that it is not form, not feeling, which means there is no form, no feeling. Or, for emptiness, one cannot call it form, nor can one call it feeling. Not an eye, not an ear, not a nose, not a tongue.
