The first is extreme ignorance of laziness, extreme ignorance of various actions of karma, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. The second is extreme ignorance of attachment to desire, extreme ignorance of not fully perfecting the dhāraṇī (Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Devanagari: धारणी, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, Tibetan: གཟུངས།, literal Chinese meaning: total retention) of hearing, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. The third is extreme ignorance of craving for absorption, extreme ignorance of craving for dharma, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. The fourth is extreme ignorance of contemplating extreme turning away from saṃsāra and manifesting inclination, extreme ignorance of contemplating turning away from nirvāṇa and manifesting inclination, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. The fifth is extreme ignorance of the arising of compounded phenomena becoming manifest, extreme ignorance of the arising of many signs, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. The sixth is extreme ignorance of the arising of subtle signs, extreme ignorance of the means of contemplating complete signlessness, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. The seventh is extreme ignorance of focusing on signlessness, extreme ignorance of mastery over signs, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. The eighth is extreme ignorance of the immeasurable teachings of the Dharma, the immeasurable words and letters of the Dharma, extreme ignorance of the power of dhāraṇī (Sanskrit: dhāraṇī, Devanagari: धारणी, Romanized Sanskrit: dharani, Tibetan: གཟུངས།, literal Chinese meaning: total retention) for wisdom and fearlessness from higher to higher, extreme ignorance of the power of fearlessness, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. The ninth is extreme ignorance of great superknowledge, extreme ignorance of entering subtle secrets, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. In the realm of the Buddha, extreme ignorance of extremely subtle attachment to all knowable things, extreme ignorance of obstruction, and their adverse factors and discordant aspects. It is said that because these are absent, there is no fear in abiding in the Prajñāpāramitā, and one will not be afraid. It is taught that abiding outside the Prajñāpāramitā, one will fear from perversion. Thus it is taught that a perverted mind is entry, it should be said thus.
