From the perspective of meaning, it is said that whatever is heard and explained in a way that convinces and delights regarding the meaning of the Heart of Prajñāpāramitā, which has become principal and supreme, is called that. That is connected with Śāriputra and the noble Avalokiteśvara, etc. Some also connect it with the Bhagavan. At that time, the pāramitā of those to be tamed should be regarded as the cause of joy, as it grasps the essence of meaning as it is. It is said "and" in order to gather everything. This should include conviction and praise. Since Bodhisattvas, monks, nuns, laymen, and laywomen are all present here, it is called a retinue complete with everything. Gods refer to the Four Great Kings, etc. Humans refer to those who are renowned. Asuras are so called because they have abandoned the division that arose from churning the ocean of milk. They are the sons of the giver and the sons who possess a giver. Gandharvas are the singers of the gods, such as Dhṛtarāṣṭra, etc. Because they dwell together with gods, etc., it is the world consisting of gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas. Because gods are principal, they are mentioned first. Because it perishes, it is the world, which is the nature of the five aggregates. What is spoken by the Bhagavan is the nature of the discourse itself. Praise refers to having great joy and holding with joy, which is a synonym. The merit of the Heart Sutra of the Prajñāpāramitā, whatever I have obtained, may all beings in the world attain the Prajñāpāramitā through it. In the presence of the Sangha of monks residing in the temple of the birthplace of Brahmā, the extensive explanation of the Heart Sutra of the Prajñāpāramitā was made by the immaculate one. The extensive explanation of the Heart Sutra of the Noble Prajñāpāramitā, composed by the Indian Abbot Vimalamitra, is complete. The Indian Abbot Vimalamitra himself, and the Tibetan translator Bande Namkha and Yeshe Nyingpo, etc., translated, corrected, and established it. The Extensive Explanation of the Heart of the Prajñāpāramitā, Abbot Vimalamitra.
