Therefore, he will not cling to that unborn dharma. This shows that the Tathagata should not be regarded as a form body, but as a dharma body. Even if the Tathagata is not of the nature of possessing excellent marks, the nature of the Tathagata's unsurpassed perfect enlightenment should reasonably arise from the cause of possessing excellent marks. For example, in order to dispel the doubt that bodhisattvas, after being seen by the mark-makers as possessing excellent marks, think that the Blessed One will be predicted to attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, it was said, "Subhuti, what do you think?" and so on. If the excellent marks become the cause of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, then the wheel-turning king will also become (a Buddha). This is his thought. The reason why the mark-makers see such excellent marks and make predictions is not like that, there is no fault. This shows that the mind should be well grasped. All these places show profundity. In terms of conventional truth, it shows the nature of the Tathagata's wisdom understanding the nature of all things, which also shows vastness. If, in terms of ultimate truth, because all dharmas are empty, it is impossible to know the dharma nature, then if that is the case, you will become a nihilist. Therefore, in order to dispel the doubt that the Tathagata also does not exist, and therefore un abiding nirvana will not be achieved, and establishing on the basis of not abiding in samsara and nirvana, the Blessed One said, "Subhuti, you who have truly entered the bodhisattva vehicle," and so on. There is also no analysis and examination of arising, because it is knowing the dharma nature as it is. Therefore it is said: There is nothing to be removed here, nor is there anything to be established, seeing Suchness in Suchness, the one who sees Suchness is liberated. Thus it is said. Since obstructing the arising of future dharmas, examining as nihilism is also not present, because it is showing the dharma nature as it is. If all dharmas are not examined, then one will happily acknowledge arising as according to conditions, therefore (it is) the Buddha, the Blessed One.

Furthermore, in terms of the true conventional truth, by the power of great compassion, having mastery over manifestations and so forth, also like subduing beings, showing the means with skillful methods, promising not to interrupt entering into samsara, therefore, this shows that the Bhagavan does not abide in nirvana. It also shows that such a body of the Bhagavan should be dwelt upon with aspiration and prayers. If so, someone might think that since the Bhagavan has promised to enter into samsara, he will become samsara itself, in order to examine this point, and to show that he does not abide in samsara itself, therefore, he also said "Subhuti" and so forth. The so-called "selflessness" is like an illusion, because it is under the control of others. It is not that it has the nature of self by itself. Constant things, because of sequence and non-sequence, are contradictory in terms of cause. Things that are not causes, because they do nothing, are impossible to be blessers. I am also not blessed by others. Therefore, in both cases, all dharmas are those that are selfless. Just as it is said: "Monks, children who do not possess learning attach and enter into the category of 'I' and 'mine', but for this, there is no 'I' and 'mine'." This shows the acceptance of the selflessness of persons in all dharmas. The so-called "unborn" shows the acceptance of the selflessness of dharmas. Thus, if things were to arise, then they would arise either from no cause or from a cause. If there is a cause, then it can be distinguished as arising from a constant cause or an impermanent cause. To this, things sometimes appear, so it is not possible like the first distinction. Because there is no dependence, there is no distinction at all times, and it would become something that is constantly existent or non-existent, like when there is existence and non-existence. Therefore, because it sometimes appears, it is also not possible like the second case. Because the power of constant things cannot be distinguished by other helping companions, if it does not depend on anything, then what can gradually produce fruit, and not all at once? The fruit without incomplete causes should not sometimes not appear, so how can it gradually arise? Those who claim that essence is the cause of things, in reality, are admitting non-existence, because this
