In reality, the establishment of names is not, although form and so on are without phenomena in the ultimate sense. However, because of relying on the unexamined non-ultimate, because of holding self-characteristics and common characteristics, therefore it is called all phenomena. In the ultimate sense, it is not, because although seeing all that abides in it, all names are absent. This shows the cutting off of distractions. If there is nothing of the Dharma of the Bhagavan's complete and perfect enlightenment, how would Bodhisattvas take the instructions in a manifest way, and thus realize the selflessness of phenomena and persons? Considering this, in order to show the manifest realization, it is said, "For example," and so on. This shows the manifest realization by obtaining wisdom and without pride. How is it to obtain wisdom? Relying on two kinds of wisdom, namely the wisdom of completely grasping the lineage and the wisdom of equality. Among them, having obtained which wisdom, one is born into the lineage of the Tathagata, and is determined to be of the Buddha lineage, that is the wisdom of completely grasping the lineage. Because of being born from that, one is endowed with a body. Endowed means possessed, the body is the body of the Tathagata, whoever obtains that, that is endowed with a body. How is it known that one has obtained that wisdom? Therefore, it is said, "Great Body." This shows the manifest realization by obtaining the wisdom of equality through equality with the selflessness of persons and phenomena. Therefore, it shows the wisdom of lineage. By the wisdom of equality, having realized the selflessness of all sentient beings, persons and phenomena, one gathers them into oneself. In that, because it gathers the bodies of all sentient beings into oneself, it is a Great Body. This is neither the meaning of sound, nor is it non-meaning. Thus, because it gathers all sentient beings into oneself, it is called a body. Those are also Great Bodies because they are extremely numerous, so it is not the meaning of sound. This speaks of the vastness of this place. The intention is that the manifest realization of a Bodhisattva is also distinguished only by relying on the true conventional, by the arising of excellent wisdom, but in the ultimate sense, there is no manifest realizer or manifest realization.

In order to show that there is no action, the venerable Subhuti asked the Blessed One, the Tathagata, about having a human body, etc. This actually completely shows the opposite of clinging to having a body and a great body. In order to abandon it, it shows that one should abide in aspiration and prayer. Merely proclaiming the characteristics of having a body and a great body prevents Bodhisattvas from clinging to all dharmas. And also distinguishes in the ultimate truth, and also introduces to entering into yoga there, also speaks of the profound, and also abandons the extreme of superimposition. The former prevents the extreme of slander. If the Tathagata said that the body itself does not exist, then the Bodhisattvas who have attained realization would think, "I have attained the realization of a Bodhisattva, now I will liberate beings," how would they think? By observing the pure discriminations of others, because there is no pride, in order to show realization, therefore the Bodhisattva is spoken of. This shows that those who think in their hearts, "I will completely liberate beings from suffering, I am a Bodhisattva," are not Bodhisattvas in the true sense. Why is that? This is to inquire about the reason for understanding here. Dharma refers to the nature of form, etc., or the nature of a person, etc. The venerable Subhuti also reported that if one analyzes dharma with reason, it cannot be seen, therefore it does not exist. Since that reason is common in all places, the Blessed One said "therefore" in order to include both non-selfs. "There are no sentient beings," etc., is a symbol, and one should also observe the absence of self-nature. This shows the cutting off of pride. Realization has been explained. From here onwards is the search for the Buddha, and those of the Buddha are also encompassed by the seven perfections, the seven perfections are, the perfection of pure land.
