Tselao! The saying "one will also attain the enlightenment of the Buddha" means that those who diligently meditate at other times after completely purifying their sins will quickly manifest the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment and become Buddhas, which is a synonymous term. As it is said in the sutra, from that very basis, one can generate extremely numerous, countless, and immeasurable merits. Then, in what way can one comprehend the countless and immeasurable? The Blessed One said, "Or, Subhuti, I have known," and so on. Here, the countless and immeasurable are shown by power and multitude. Among them, "Subhuti, I have known that in the past, countless kalpas before the most countless kalpas," and so on, completely shows the power. This is the power of that accumulation of merit, in order to overwhelm this extremely distinguished and most excellent accumulation of merit. Starting from Dipamkara Buddha, until countless kalpas, countless kalpas are because the number is exhausted. Before Dipamkara Buddha, in the extremely distant past, I pleased eighty-four kotis of nayutas of hundreds of thousands of Buddhas, which is offering with the offering of practice. The saying "there was no interruption in the mind" is because even in the middle, that practice was not abandoned. The saying "whatever is" refers to the difference in actions. Therefore, the meaning is this: whether it is harmlessness, etc., or acceptance, etc., whether it is the accumulation of merit such as faith, etc., or the accumulation of the nature of the habitual tendencies produced by it, compared to these two, the former accumulation of merit cannot even compare to one-hundredth of this latter accumulation of merit. The Blessed One said "one-thousandth part" also to show even smaller. The term "number" is appropriate only for similar things, just as "the second to the snow mountain is a mustard seed" is not the case. The term "part" refers to a portion. That is also the essence of the same kind, for example, the part of long things is the mountain top, not the tip of the grass. The term "counting" also refers to only similar things, for example, Mount Meru is also a mountain.

Like saying the snowy region is a snow mountain, but not saying it is mustard. The meaning of simile is that simile is only similar. For example, saying "like a cow" is said to a yak, not to a bee. Although small, it can do its work due to complete familiarity. For example, if a knife is sharpened, it can be used like a sword. Therefore, "moon" is said, meaning that the method of making it smooth and wide has been found. Even if it is sharpened very sharply, it is unbearable because it is too small, which is its conclusion. Therefore, "cause" is also mentioned, meaning that the real object of its cause is also unbearable. These can only be known from the words of the Omniscient One. For such things beyond the scope of the senses, the words of the Omniscient One are the only measure. Furthermore, in the time of complete purification, all sentient beings are completely pure at that time, which is not surprising. In the time of not being completely pure, it is surprising that the thoughts of sentient beings become completely pure in an instant. In this way, immeasurable is temporarily shown from the perspective of power. Regarding the idea of "how are numbers immeasurable", "Subhuti, if at that time" etc. were said. This completely shows extremely many. Calculating that merit will also become dizzy and dizzy due to fatigue, and become a type of mental illness - mental confusion. After that, mental confusion caused by madness will also occur. This shows profundity and vastness. Like this, regarding the idea of "how to know the fruit with quantity and power from this Dharma category", "Subhuti" etc. were also said, and in any case, the fruit will only be in accordance with the cause. Although banyan trees etc. are small, they are very solid, so the huge fruits such as branches, leaves and trees will not disappear. Although this Dharma category is short in length, it is very profound, because it explains the inconceivable Dharma, it is inconceivable. Therefore, from this inconceivable, the fruit that matches the cause and condition will also become inconceivable, and the power of cause and condition is all.
