Therefore, false actions should also be completely abandoned. One should also desire to attain the ultimate state of perfect and complete enlightenment, the source of all happiness, and strive to engage in it. Thus, Bodhisattvas, having obtained vast and abundant enjoyments, and their bodies strengthened by supreme bliss, do not contemplate turning back from enlightenment. Therefore, they will not turn back. Previously, it was shown that they abide in it merely by focusing on the object. Here, it is falling into the nature of attachment to it by prioritizing the object. Therefore, here it speaks of falling, and previously it spoke of abiding. All of this shows that the mind is firmly grasped. Thus, even though they are established in forbearance in this way, those who taste the flavor of meditative absorption and are attached to it, and do not strive in the Mahayana Dharma, which is the cause for completely filling the accumulation of wisdom, in order to separate them from being associated with the accumulation of wisdom, they are placed in the fourteenth stage, and the names such as "Subhuti" and so on are spoken. This place, in order to separate from tasting the flavor of meditative absorption, completely shows the distinction of the qualities of striving in the sacred Dharma in five ways. The Tathagata, with his wisdom and excellent merit, completely gathers, and teaches the Dharma and the means to accomplish it, and the gods and others make offerings, and sins are completely purified. Among them, the Tathagata with his wisdom refers to what is said, "The Tathagata knows them," and so on. The explanation of the words such as "taking" and so on is the same as before. The Bhagavan, being omniscient, is therefore omniscient and all-seeing. Considering what is so amazing about this, in order to show the distinction of completely gathering merit, it is said, "All those sentient beings." This means that because they have generated immeasurable accumulations of merit, they are known to have fortune. Considering what is so special about their accumulation of merit that it becomes immeasurable, in order to show that they completely gather excellent merit, it is said again, "Subhuti, whether a man or a woman."

It was said, "Whatever..." and so on. The distinctions of states such as the sun, light, earth, and water are morning. In order to show that only the distinctions of states that have changed in this way are considered time, and not those that are completely inferred by those with distinctions, etc. The sound of time and that are homogeneous, so they are distinguished. If it were not so, since that is only the sole entity, "This is morning," etc., would become indistinguishable. If one admits that distinctions are made by other distinctions, then is that distinction itself the cause of naming the distinctions of the positions of the sun, etc., as morning, etc.? If it does not do anything at all, what is the point of inferring time that has no power? It is also not reasonable to have signs such as slowness and quickness, because slowness, etc., arise gradually from their cause and are contradictory. That has already been shown before. Harmful valid cognition has already been shown in the context of refuting the self, so there is no need to say more. For that, due to the power of the sign generated by self-satisfaction, the distinctions of the states of life, etc., are named time, but not due to inferring the connection between sound and meaning. In order to show this, the word "life" is used to distinguish. If only one of them is mentioned, the intention as stated before cannot be shown, so all three words are spoken. Because it is the realm of signs. The sound of the sign is attached and made homogeneous. Here, this is said in order to taste the flavor of meditation and separation. In the previous one, it will not be repeated because it did not show that one should give and this kind of form of time. From that very basis, it generates immeasurable and countless merits, which completely shows the vastness. Because it overwhelms the merit arising from the particularly superior giving in terms of number, substance, and time distinctions. For example, "like the sands of the Ganges" shows the distinction of number. "Body" is difficult to fathom, it is the distinction of substance. "Billions of trillions of eons" is...
