Among those, the arising of what kind of perception in the very beginning is called the arising of perception. The Tathagata knows those, meaning the names, bodies, consciousness, and views of those, the Tathagata knows. From seeing the form body and thinking that all abides and travels, the views are based on knowing the thought. These show that they are upheld by virtuous friends, and all those are shown to be upheld by immeasurable accumulations of merit. Therefore, it is desired to uphold during the time of diligence and generating merit, because at the time of cessation, it is for completely holding the seeds. Those Bodhisattvas will not arise with the perception of being sentient beings, and even if the perception of non-dharma arises, that itself will hold those as self. This shows the true perception of those. As an antidote to the five wrong grasps. What are the five wrong grasps? Other non-Buddhists towards this Dharma, as well as ordinary beings, Shravakas, Bodhisattvas with pride, those who fall into common worldly perceptions, or those who also fall into non-perception. The first is the arising of the perception of self, the second is the arising of the perception of Dharma, the third is the arising of the perception of being Dharma, because Dharma is perceived as real, so here it is considered that the absence of the reality of Dharma is not Dharma. The fourth is the arising perception, and the fifth is non-perception. Those Bodhisattvas will not arise with perception towards all these. Therefore, from the arising of those with discipline, up to the arising of immeasurable accumulations of merit, it is shown closely. Why is that? Because it is said that whatever is wrongly grasped, the perception of Dharma and non-Dharma will arise. Whatever does not arise with the perception of non-self, etc., that is the perception of self, etc., because those have not abandoned the latent tendencies, so this itself is grasping at self. Therefore, if those Bodhisattvas arise with the perception of Dharma
