Hearing the name of this Shakyamuni Buddha is like being told it is the seed of non-retrogression. To sit facing that direction is to be in accordance with the mandala of the wind of the Tathagata's rays. If so, how would it not become abandoning other Tathagatas? It does not become so. If one keeps in mind one Tathagata, if one wishes to keep one in mind, then by that very act of keeping one in mind, one will have kept in mind the Buddhas of the past and so forth. The reason is that the Tathagata himself is one. Because the nature of Dharma is without difference. By remembering that one, one remembers the others. If it were not so, even the one would not be remembered. Having explained the order of entering in this way, in order to explain what is called the Samadhi of One Arrangement by what reason, he said, "Manjushri, how is it that one Tathagata," and so forth. The immeasurable qualities of the Buddha cannot be measured like the sky. Immeasurable fearlessness is the preaching of the Dharma. Similarly, Manjushri, having obtained and generated the Samadhi of One Arrangement as described above. "One without birth" and so forth, shows the reason for the entry of the word "one." What is called "immeasurable distinctions of the categories of Dharma" shows that it is the reason for the entry of the word "arrangement." Here, what will be included? Whatever has been spoken by the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly complete Buddhas, and whatever I have spoken, and whatever Ananda has fully grasped, all the meanings and words of the categories of Dharma that have been spoken will appear equally here. It will appear in the mind. Because the greatness of the knowledge of form has been shown, in order to show that immeasurable fearlessness is spoken, by accomplishing this Samadhi of One Arrangement, at that time, for as long as the measure of life is, for that long, the teaching of the Dharma with reasons will be uninterrupted. To be with reasons means that the teaching of the Dharma with valid reasons is uninterrupted. Those reasons are because that one alone is the arrangement, so it is the

It is called the Samadhi of Oneness. In order to compose an example illustrating the two meanings just taught, Manjushri, he said to him, some Bodhisattva vehicles think like this, and so on. Among them, "some" refers to wanting qualities. "Thinking like this" refers to discrimination. If one thinks, what is this Samadhi established in the singular activity of merit? To them, say this, temporarily, etc., this is to indicate the order. What is the inconceivable quality? That is the inconceivable quality, which is said to be Samadhi. To fully proclaim it, who or where is it proclaimed? It is the full proclamation of inconceivable qualities, where was the teaching done? "This" refers to what was taught above. Hold it correctly, listen to it, and keep it in mind. Always practice the method of union with reverence and abide, how and how to correctly receive, etc., is to correctly receive and abide. The qualities of Samadhi will be seen. The way it is taught, refers to asking about Prajnaparamita and so on above, and the words of the noble ones are very pure and stay without being mixed, that is their work. Do not be discouraged, which means to completely abandon being content with just a little. Therefore, it is taught to abandon the obstacles of Shamatha and Vipassana and both of them and abide. In order to abandon the views that hinder the field of activity and become unfavorable, therefore it is said that this Samadhi is for those with views of objects, etc. The object is the two, the grasper and the grasped. Things mean that things exist. Existence means that arising and ceasing exist, those who see and grasp in that way cannot accomplish it. In order to illustrate the example of the order of seeing the qualities of Samadhi, Manjushri, for example, a person has a priceless jewel, a precious jewel that has not been polished, etc. A priceless jewel and unpolished, are examples, it is the end.

It is not necessary to explain because it is clear and distinct. Similarly, Manjushri, whether a son or daughter of good family, as they abide in samadhi, as they dwell, so too will they see the qualities of this samadhi, as it is said, "as it is," which indicates doing it many times. Like this, if the body and mind have not yet attained extreme pliancy, and one is especially endowed with faith, it is in accordance with calm abiding, but it is not calm abiding. Vipashyana has three aspects: that which arises from signs, the seeker, and the individual discriminator. The calm abiding that follows the mind without interruption also has three aspects, as well as the eight distinctions of samadhi and formless attainments, and also four aspects with immeasurable qualities such as loving-kindness. Therefore, this is why "as it is" was spoken. "Entering" refers to the first bhumi. "As they will see the qualities of this samadhi" refers to oneself. In order to show the uninterrupted fearlessness and immeasurable example. Manjushri, for example, the rays of the sun's disc, etc., are spoken of, and all the edges of the disc, even to the edges of Jambudvipa, etc., there is nothing that is not illuminated by the rays, nothing that is not visible. Manjushri, similarly, after relying on and entering the single-arrangement samadhi, relying on it is the time of the ground of practice with faith. Entering is the time of the path of seeing. Attainment is the time of the three grounds, because at the time of illumination, one establishes the attainment of samadhi. That is not teaching any dharma other than the perfection of wisdom. Whoever knows and realizes this in this way will not see any dharma that is born, unborn, contradictory, or incompatible. The single example of unbornness is, Manjushri, for example, the four directions of the great ocean, etc. Similarly, the lineage of bodhisattvas, etc., up to the uncertain lineage, the four types of sentient beings are like the four directions. The dharma that I have taught
