That which is called "this" is to fully grasp the unborn and so forth. If asked, to what is there no attachment? It is shown that there is no attachment to all dharmas, and here is that mudra. If asked, what will that become? It is said, therefore, a son or daughter of good family who is sealed with this mudra, and so forth. It is said that for a mind with particular faith, that Bodhisattva vehicle with this mudra will not go to the lower realms such as hell. They will not go to the level of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and will not strive for the sake of completely passing into nirvana themselves. They are not destined to enter that level, and if they do not enter, they will not directly realize the fruit. Then, that which is called "at that time" is the time when the explanation of the Perfection of Wisdom is complete. After making offerings with divine substances, with this root of virtue, those who are sealed with this mudra, the unsurpassed jewel of Dharma, and so forth, are those who are fully embraced by aspiration for those who have faith. In order to show that it is also generally embraced by the power of the gods, the Bhagavan also said, "Between my non-arising and non-appearance," and so forth. Those who are called "sons or daughters of good family like that" are those who have the mudra. That which is called "it will be heard in their ears" is for the purpose of being an object of hearing, and not merely for the sake of hearing. Why is that? Because it is said, "In order to make them able to fully accomplish all the Buddha's teachings." The word "between" includes holding and so forth. That which is called "striving" is what should be strived for. Bhagavan, this explanation of the Perfection of Wisdom, and so forth, is easy to understand. The Bhagavan said this to the lord of the gods, Indra. " कौशिका (kauśika) कौशिका (kauśika) कौशिका (kauśika,Kausika), it is just so," and so forth, is the Bhagavan making approval. Because without the blessing of the Buddha, the sacred Dharma cannot remain for a long time, therefore, for the sake of blessing, the Bhagavan showed signs, that is, the great earth shook in six ways, and smiling, and so forth.

This realm of the great trichiliocosm Is filled with great light. In order to show for what purpose this Perfection of Wisdom was blessed to be taught, the Blessed One said that this is a sign that the Tathagata has blessed the teaching of the Perfection of Wisdom, and so forth. The Blessed One also approved, saying, "Manjushri, it is so," and so forth. Through these signs, it should be understood that this has been blessed. Manjushri, those great beings who do not abandon any dharma, that is, do not slander. Not praising also means not practicing. "Those and those" refers to those who should be praised. It should be known that this is sealed with a mudra, that is, it should be known that a sign has been placed. If there is doubt as to how this is done, here the answer is given, "Manjushri, if there is an object of focus," and so forth. Like this, if there is an object of focus, one would abandon it, thinking that it does not exist. One would praise it, thinking that it does exist. If there is no object of focus, then both negation and practice are not reasonable. Manjushri, therefore, "Those who are sealed with this mudra," and so forth, is the conclusion. For the sake and purpose of those fortunate ones who are sealed with this mudra that transcends existence and non-existence, because I have blessed them, this mudra is established, in this way, because those who do not practice or negate any dharma, even after hearing it, do not teach or conceptualize any dharma. Why is that? Manjushri, because all dharmas are not born in ultimate truth. Mentioning ultimate truth is because, like dreams and so on, it is not possible to eliminate mere appearance. After the Blessed One spoke these words, that is, after that sutra was spoken. Rejoicing at what was spoken means that the mind is delighted, Manjushri, the youthful one, and Maitreya and other Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and Sharadvatiputra and other great Shravakas, and gods and humans.

The gods and, along with the Gandharvas, the world of human and non-human beings, as well as the great belly-goers and all those, rejoiced at what the Bhagavan said, and praised it, saying, "It is so, it is so." Some explain that there are other teachers as well. The phrase "Thus spoken" means that those who connect it as "Manjushri spoke" are prevented from connecting it as "Manjushri spoke" because the Bhagavan said, "I rejoice in what was said." It would also become a fault of mixing the words of the Buddha and the words of non-Buddhists. All the words that the Bhagavan spoke about the Dharma, and the words that explain the connection, are all due to the power of the Buddha. Therefore, the words of Indra and others should also be regarded as the words of the Buddha. With the immaculate rays of words, the pleasing assembly, the mother of the Victorious Ones, who dispels the net of ignorance, the beautiful lotus, opening appropriately afterwards, like the king of swans, look with wisdom. Whatever merit I have gained from the seven hundred verses that I have distinguished, may all beings, from the bonds of evil realms and characteristics, be liberated and quickly attain Buddhahood. The extensive commentary on the Holy Seven Hundred Verses of Wisdom, composed by the teacher Vimalamitra, who was inspired by the Lord of Speech, is complete. The Extensive Commentary on the Holy Seven Hundred Verses on the Perfection of Wisdom, by the teacher Vimalamitra.
