He also said, "Not being conditioned dharmas," and so on. Because those conditioned dharmas of samsara have no nature and no faith arises from them, they are the nature of samsara. Conditioned dharmas that completely transcend suffering are the lineages of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, because they fear samsara. Those who are not both are the lineages of Bodhisattvas, who only abide in their lineage, and therefore they will have faith in this. He also said that the meaning of "those who have not moved from the view of the perishable aggregate" is this: the view of the perishable aggregate is a fault, because having moved from it, one abides in emptiness. With the thought that "all actions done with views will come to an end," those who liberate themselves from the view of the perishable aggregate. Those who are not like that, because they believe that all dharmas are unborn, have not moved from the view of the perishable aggregate. He also said that "those who have not abandoned desire, hatred, and ignorance" means that they think it is only to have more faith in the unborn, and connect them with faith. This shows that only the lineages of Bodhisattvas have greater faith. Why? It means, what kind of thorough understanding do they have? What makes them have more faith, and not others? Therefore, it is said, "What has not been abandoned will not be abandoned," and so on. "Abandonment" means destruction. What has not been abandoned is not destroyed, which refers to the unconditioned. Abandonment also has remnants, such as the views of the Samkhya school. Complete abandonment means complete exhaustion without any remnants, such as the views of the Sautrantika school. Therefore, they are wrong beliefs, and there is no greater faith in this. Those who do not have such views will have faith. He also said, "Those who have not been liberated from samsara" means only having more faith in the unborn nature of samsara. He also said, "They are not even in the number of samsara" means that because they have abandoned the delusion of clinging to the apprehended and the apprehender, they are not afflicted. Thus it is taught: Afflictions arise, not afflictions, possessing immeasurable faultless qualities.
