The element has no difference, all dharmas are of one nature. Bodhi is the wisdom of equality, that is the truly complete Bodhi. Even if there is no arising dharma, however, if it is said that Bodhi has arisen and exists, therefore Bodhi is also unborn, so it is said. In order to clarify the meaning of the definitive word, therefore it is said, "Whether there is or is not the essence of Bodhi," and so on. With what and what, where does Bodhi manifest complete perfect enlightenment, these in order, the agent Bodhisattva, the action path, the action Bodhi, should all be included, saying that there is nothing, because of the unborn. Not observing, because it is not true like dreams, etc., because of the unborn, it shows that there is no thing, not because it is momentary, like this it is an image, it will prevent. In order to show that the already spoken ordinary beings and other dharmas are equal to Bodhi, the self-nature of Bodhi is asked, and it is requested, "World Honored One, the so-called Bodhi, is a pleonasm of the five heinous crimes." Hasn't Bodhi already been spoken, what else can be said about it? That is true, but without showing Bodhi, it is impossible to show that the dharmas of ordinary beings and others are its self-nature, so showing it again is not a fault. Why is that a pleonasm? World Honored One, like this, the five heinous crimes themselves have no things, they are the self-nature of Bodhi, so it is said. Like this, because the self-nature of Bodhi is the nature of those, so it is the self-nature of Bodhi. What is the self-nature? Because there is no thing, so it is said, thing refers to arising. It is not like that, so there is no thing, it is a synonym for the word unborn. Its nature is that. Therefore, the self-nature of not killing and so on is that there is no thing, so it is only unborn. All dharmas are without things.

For the sake of becoming that nature, enlightenment is of the nature of the five uninterruptednesses. Therefore, the complete realization of the uninterrupted dharmas as being without substance is the characteristic that has been taught, and that is enlightenment. The uninterruptednesses are merely symbolic, but the complete realization of all dharmas is also enlightenment, because they are of the same nature, and this should be understood. In some texts it says that the complete realization of the uninterruptednesses is not enlightenment, and the true meaning of this is as follows: because insubstantiality cannot be completely realized, therefore, whatever is not a complete realization of the uninterruptednesses is enlightenment. The uninterruptednesses are the limits of not seeing, and all dharmas are of the characteristic of not seeing, therefore, not seeing dharmas is seeing, and this has been explained many times. Having explained what is desired, in order to refute what is not desired, it is said in the sutra that all manifested dharmas are also not enlightenment. To transform the unmanifested into the manifested is the manifested. To manifest all dharmas in the manner of manifesting their appearance is not enlightenment, and this should be understood in this way. Therefore, the appearance of all dharmas is not manifested, and not manifesting is enlightenment. If one asks, by what reason is this explained? Therefore, it is said in the sutra, "All dharmas are not extremely manifest." In this way, those dharmas that are not extremely manifest, whether by the Buddha or by any other being, have had the characteristic of complete realization explained, and are completely realized as if they were manifest. Not seeing is because of seeing, not hearing is because of hearing, not perceiving is because of knowing. Or, relying on the path of seeing and the path of meditation. The word "of" in the middle indicates mindfulness. Not understanding is because of everything. Such knowledge, which is free from all extremes of superimposition and denigration, that kind of knowledge is enlightenment. Another explanation is also like this, and it is said in the sutra, "Bhagavan," and so on. Particular attachment or excessive pride is manifest.

It is the pride of pride. Such conduct is characterized by manifest pride, engaging in false imputation. Through the conceptualization of those, in others, the aggregates, elements, and sense bases are made manifest, and it is established that one is manifestly and perfectly enlightened. The word "in between" encompasses seeing, knowing, and so forth. The aspects of those, the self-nature of each of those is empty, yet those who do not understand the self-nature that appears to consciousness do not realize emptiness. They truly cling to the appearance of those aspects as existing externally, and by clinging to signs, they understand that and that, but those are not true. The intention has been explained. Now, attainment will be discussed. In order to show the nature of enlightenment in this way to individual beings and noble dharmas, and in order to show the dharma of perfect and complete enlightenment, (the Buddha) said, "Manjushri, do you to me," and so forth. "To me" means to me. What is thought is what will appear below: "The Tathagata is my Tathagata." Does the nature of such conceptual thought, thinking and speaking as a term, arise? This is the intention of the perfect and complete Buddha himself and the one who shows his activity. "Tathagata is" means that the Tathagata is so because he goes in that way. "My Tathagata" means that because he speaks to me in that way, and because he shows without inversion, he is the Tathagata, he is the one who shows. Thus, when the word Tathagata appears twice, the first Tathagata is the one who realizes as it is. One is the one who subsequently shows. Relative to the one who shows, "my" is the sixth case. After asking that, the Bhagavan replied that it is not so. There is no conceptual thought or term of "is mine" for the Tathagata, meaning that there is no reason to establish it. When asked why, the Bhagavan said that there is no reason with "Thus, the Tathagata is," and so forth. Thus, if one examines with reason, the aspects as stated
