It also shows abandonment. If there is no proper engagement in venerating those who should be venerated, Manjushri, then where are the Buddha's teachings? When asked this, Manjushri replied: "Venerable One, they are also with you," and so on. The term "Buddha's teachings" refers to the manifest realizations that have been shown, but their names do not exist. Therefore, not observing is not understanding. This shows that phenomena and entities do not arise. The ninth ground is the stage of showing, therefore, one obtains the separate correct knowledge of non-attachment. If it were not so, it would be unreasonable to show it unimpeded as it is. Showing that here is a subtle way of asking, "Manjushri, have you found non-attachment?" The answer to that is, "Venerable One, I am without attachment," and so on. "I am without attachment" means that all phenomena are characterized by non-attachment. Therefore, what is the use of obtaining non-attachment again? That is the wisdom without the defilement of attachment to the knowable. In order to distinguish the stage of the tenth ground, he asked, "Manjushri, do you abide in the heart of enlightenment?" The intention was to ask if he admitted to being without attachment. When asked that, "If I strive for the true limit, even the Venerable One," and so on, shows that ground itself. That is also having the object of accomplishing the necessary completely, having obtained calm abiding and insight, and being completely ignorant of great superknowledges, and having abandoned the complete ignorance of entering subtle secrets, because it has abandoned the aggregates of bad rebirths, which are the characteristics of all perversions. This is said to have completely attained the Dharmakaya, and only the remaining latent tendencies remain, and by abandoning what becomes extremely pure, that is the Tathagata. The heart of enlightenment, this is both enlightenment and heart, therefore it is the heart of enlightenment. Abandoning the three bad rebirths is enlightenment. That is also like existing on the skin, like existing on the flesh.

And, it is distinguished as being like on the bone. Among them, the universal ignorance of clinging to Dharma and individuals, and the universal ignorance of universal afflictions of falling into evil destinies, and the elimination of its faults, etc., and the aspects that are not in harmony with purity, etc., are like being on the skin because they have become external objects due to the nature of being completely imputed. The aspects that are not in harmony with the three, such as the eighth consciousness, etc., due to the universal ignorance of being in control of the characteristics and its faults, etc., are like being in the flesh because they are not shown by the nature of the consciousness of the mind. Habit is the nature of becoming a seed, and it is like being on the bone because it exists on the Alaya consciousness. Abandoning the faults that are like being on the skin is the seven grounds, such as the Extremely Joyful Ground. The three, such as the eighth consciousness, etc., are the abandonment of the faults that are like being in the flesh. The Tathagata is the abandonment of the faults that are like being on the bone, therefore, Bodhi is called essence because it is supreme. The ground that can obtain it is also its sound, because the beings to be tamed are so attached to it. Among them, residing on the essence of Bodhi, being called possessing those who have subdued the demons, if there are no residents, then what should I do? If I strive for the true limit, this shows that sitting on the Vajra seat, etc., is inverted. Ultimately, seats and walking and coming and going, etc., do not exist. Therefore, the characteristic of the Dharmakaya, which has abandoned all inversions, does not exist in any abiding, etc. In order to show this, the meaning of the words "the true limit" was asked, and the answer was: "Bhagavan, the so-called true limit is the word for the view of the aggregation of destruction." The view of the aggregation of destruction and the true limit are the characteristics of being inverted and not inverted, and because they are contradictory, they are extremely different, so they should not be one. Therefore, in order to show this, he asked, "Manjushri, based on what do you think and say this?" He replied, "Bhagavan, the view of the aggregation of destruction does not exist.
