It is the Paramita. Its disease is like, for the conceptual thoughts to be abandoned by seeing and meditating, how they exist in each and every one, and their latent tendencies. The Sutra of the Appearance of the Tathagata has also clearly explained this meaning, but because there are too many words, it has not been written. Starting from not killing, one should also abide in the way of all-knowing wisdom, and one should speak of making sentient beings happy. That is, one must clearly know the two kinds of Dharma to be abandoned and cultivated, and without hesitation, turn away from the non-virtuous Dharmas to be abandoned, and abide in the virtuous Dharmas to be cultivated that lead to the attainment of all-knowing wisdom, and because one cannot make others happy, one must undoubtedly think and discern these Dharmas. In order to show that those who meditate in solitude are practicing the Prajnaparamita, it is said, "One does not cling to any Dharma," and so on. For the Dharmas to be abandoned, such as ordinary beings, and for the Dharmas to be cultivated, such as the perfectly complete Buddhas, one does not cling to experience with the conceptual thoughts of mindfulness, nor does one distinguish with objects, that is the practice of Prajnaparamita. In order to clarify by demonstrating the reason, the Bhagavan asked Manjushri, "Do you cling to the Dharmas of the Buddhas?" This is to imply in a subtle way whether one clings to the Dharmas of the Buddhas, because remembering it is something that must be done. If I see that the Dharmas of the Buddhas are completely established, then I would cling to the Dharmas of the Buddhas. The Dharmas of the Buddhas refer to the Dharmas, that is, the Buddha and his Dharmas. If one sees that they are completely established and their own nature is established, then one would cling. Because one has not seen that they are completely established, one does not cling. Like this, if one clings to things that are not completely established, then that is not Prajnaparamita. In order to show this, from "The practice of Prajnaparamita is these," and so on, until "For any Dharma, one does not abide closely with conceptual thoughts."

I say that I do not specifically discriminate and conceptually grasp any dharma or entity that should be abandoned or cultivated, and I do not abide or enter into it with conceptual thought. Statements such as "These are the dharmas of ordinary beings" indicate specific discrimination. Because they individually transmigrate in the five or six realms, they are ordinary beings. Their dharmas are the dharmas of ordinary beings, such as desire. Subduing oneself, pacifying, and completely passing beyond sorrow, etc., these are the dharmas of the Hearers. Holding onto imputations, etc., these are the dharmas of the Solitary Buddhas. Powers, etc., these are the dharmas of the Perfectly Complete Buddhas, and I do not abide in any dharma with conceptual thought. Here, the reason is that a son of a noble family who strives in yoga does not even perceive that dharma itself, etc. That is, he does not even perceive or see the dharma that is suitable for applying terms, such as the self. The self that has been indicated, whose nature is called the dharma of ordinary beings, is not perceived. The learner is one who has entered the stream, etc., and there are seven existences. The non-learner is the Arhat. The Solitary Buddha is of two types: like a rhinoceros horn, and associating with a group. Among them, the one like a rhinoceros horn relies on a noble person to fully ripen the continuum, but does not generate what accords with the decisive factor. After exhausting his life, he generates what accords with the decisive factor, and generates the noble path, thereby accomplishing self-enlightenment, which is the ultimate fruit of a renunciant. The one who associates with a group is also of two types: some rely on a noble person to fully ripen the continuum, and also generate what accords with the decisive factor, but do not generate the fruit of a renunciant or the noble path. After exhausting his life, he generates the noble path, but does not directly realize the ultimate self-enlightenment. Others rely on a noble person to fully ripen the continuum, and also generate what accords with the decisive factor, and also generate the noble path, but do not
