Attachment to existence and the objects of enjoyment, considering external and internal phenomena as inferior and superior, and clinging and craving to them, is manifest attachment. This manifest attachment, for a long time, causes harm such as discord, strife, contention, and disharmony, and also generates miserliness and the like, which is a disease. Destroying and completely removing all of this is the Prajñāpāramitā that does not discriminate between superior and inferior, practicing Prajñāpāramitā, and also establishing other beings in it. Why is that? "Why" refers to what reason does not discriminate. Therefore, the Blessed One spoke of "unborn" and so on. Between Suchness and the ultimate limit of reality, and all phenomena, the word "between" is also used, and the word "between" also includes other uncreated categories. All phenomena refers to the nature of not being born internally and externally, and there is no superior or inferior to it, that is the meaning. Blessed One, if you meditate in this way, it is practicing Prajñāpāramitā, this is the conclusion. This is to elaborate on the manifest attachment to Nirvana, regarding what was said such as "Thus asked, the Blessed One," the "Thus" refers to the previous situation. "Asked" means spoke. "Thus" refers to what will be said below. "Bestowed the teaching" means spoke. Mañjuśrī, "Buddha's Dharma" refers to the Dharma of the Buddha's own nature, because the Buddha's ten powers, four fearlessnesses, etc. are superior in all aspects, so the question is asked in a euphemistic tone, "Isn't it the main superior?" The answer to this is: Because it cannot be grasped, the Buddha's Dharmas are superior. Because there is no conceptualization of grasping in the place of entering and returning, and there is no existence without it, so there is no conceptualization of clinging either. Therefore, these are superior in the conventional sense, but not in the ultimate sense, therefore the Blessed One spoke of "all phenomena are empty" and so on. "All phenomena" refers to form and so on. "Empty" refers to

is emptiness by its very nature. Thus, is the Tathagata manifestly and perfectly enlightened? To this, knowing manifestly that the characteristics are one and the same, equal and undifferentiated, is he manifestly and perfectly enlightened? When asked thus, the Blessed One replied, "Yes, it is so." The noble Manjushri also asked the Blessed One, "Is there a superior or inferior aspect to emptiness?" This question itself is the answer. Asking indirectly, "Is there a superior or inferior aspect to emptiness?" the implication is that neither exists. The Blessed One, pleased by the reasoned words, said, "Manjushri, well done, well done!" Manjushri, it is so, just as you have said. This is an affirmation, meaning it is not otherwise, up to that point. To show that the Buddha's teachings are free from the imputation of false conceptions of what is grasped and what grasps, and to show that they are free from their latent predispositions, he said, "Manjushri, are the Buddha's teachings unsurpassed?" and so on. Because there is nothing more excellent or superior than this, it is unsurpassed. After the question, Manjushri replied, "Yes, it is so." The Buddha's teachings are indeed unsurpassed, and not otherwise, this is the affirmation. Here, as a reason, the Blessed One said, "Thus, for those," and so on. For those teachings that are the nature of the Buddha, there is not even a trace or a subtle amount of the characteristic of habitual tendencies, it does not exist. Therefore, it is imperceptible and unknowable. Let alone the state of wandering thoughts. For the teachings of the Buddhas, even their habitual tendencies do not exist, this is the meaning of the word "even." Therefore, those unsurpassed teachings of the Buddhas are supremely excellent in the relative sense, and the state of being unsurpassed is the place of attachment to Nirvana. In reality, there is neither superior nor inferior in emptiness, nor is there unsurpassed or a higher state, therefore attachment to Nirvana

It is peaceful. Now, let us speak of what the Buddhas have said, and so on. By striving to meditate on the Prajñāpāramitā, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, protect, save, and conceal the Bodhisattvas who accomplish it. Among them, protection is to increase meditation and to make it completely non-deteriorating. Saving is to save from the harm of others. Concealing is to prevent distraction to inferior vehicles and to prevent distraction. The Bodhisattva who abandons the Dharmas of individual beings, transcends the inferior vehicle, attains the Dharmas of the Buddhas, and performs the deeds of the Buddhas, for whom those conventional discriminations do not arise, that is the meditation on the Prajñāpāramitā. As such, the Bhagavan teaches, and furthermore, what are the Dharmas of the Buddhas, and so on. The Dharmas of the Buddhas are accomplished by accomplishing the nature that has already been taught, therefore it is accomplishment, it is closeness, it is definitely in accordance. Its object is accomplishment itself. It does not enter into its meaning, it does not arise, until it does not accomplish. It does not abandon or discard the Dharmas of individual beings. Obtaining the Dharmas of the Buddhas is also not, called not obtaining. Holding is also not, called not arising or holding. What the Buddhas have said, and so on, has already been taught, and it is also taught in the Twenty-five Thousand Verses and so on, that the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who reside in the ten directions of the world, from holding this Prajñāpāramitā to paying attention to it, how to increase the Dharma of virtue, from the Dana Paramita to the Sarvākārajñāna, without deteriorating, and in order not to be overwhelmed by pride and so on, they protect and save, and conceal, and so on. By the example of many sons striving to eliminate the mother's illness, the Buddha's protection and so on are taught. Among them, like a son is the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Like a mother is the wisdom of
