Now, concerning the purity spoken of in the world, it is "accumulating all dharmas" and so forth. All dharmas are the nature of the Buddha-field; this ground is completely accumulated, therefore all dharmas are also completely accumulated. In order to generate a pure Buddha-field, what are the methods for the purity of the sentient world and the container world in that way? To explain the purity of the methods, it is "the samadhi of all dharmas" and so forth. Among all dharmas, which samadhis are its objects? Their boundlessness is emptiness, as well as individually realizing and obtaining it. Those sentient beings who are counted among the Bodhisattvas should understand its boundlessness by the perfection of wisdom of that ground. After explaining the purity of the samadhi of the path stage, in order to explain the purity of the dharmas of the fruit stage, it is "by the boundlessness of all Buddha-dharmas" and so forth. All Buddha-dharmas are the ten powers and fearlessness, and so forth. What was previously said as "by the boundlessness of all Buddha-dharmas" was the Buddha-dharmas abiding in one's own continuum spoken by the Bhagavan. If that is the case, then those abiding in other continuums that enable perfect Bodhi to abide are the distinctions. Among the Buddha-dharmas, other dharmas may also abide in the Buddha's continuum, so what is their establishment? It is "because all dharmas are boundless." However, the emptiness of all dharmas themselves is the description of it. For example, inner emptiness, outer emptiness, and so forth. Therefore, please explain the purity of emptiness alone, which is "because emptiness is boundless" and so forth. The boundlessness of emptiness is emptiness, which is the meaning of emptiness. Emptiness is not the existence of other entities, therefore, emptiness is also emptiness.

That is to say, it is pure. However, emptiness does not become a substance, nor is it completely cut off like a rabbit's horn. Therefore, in any case, it must be realized with a nature that is free from both existence and non-existence, because those who realize emptiness want to say that. Therefore, in any case, for the mind and mental factors that are focused on emptiness, because of the doubt that they will exist, their purity is proclaimed, that is, mind and mental factors, etc. Mind and mental factors are also limitless, because they are the nature of emptiness. If someone says that the activity of their grasping characteristics exists in the ultimate sense, then (the answer is) that the object of the mind is limitless, etc. The object of the mind refers to the activity of grasping that is done by the object. The limitlessness of this (object) itself is emptiness. To perceive equality with equality, and to abide in the nature of the perceiver and the perceived, the wisdom that holds emptiness, for it, there is no slight existence of things like grasping the grasped and the grasper, this is the (text's) intention. This supramundane consciousness that arises truthfully, abiding in the nature of the object to be perceived and the perceiver with equality, is the arising of virtuous dharmas that become antidotes, and the abandonment of non-virtuous dharmas that are incompatible with this. Therefore, their purity is proclaimed, that is, because good and non-good dharmas are immeasurable, etc., immeasurability itself is limitlessness, which is the nature of emptiness. Thus, after elaborately explaining the proof of following the perfection of wisdom, which is the nature of the emptiness of all dharmas, it is said, then from where does this proof of the perfection of wisdom arise? That is, the lion's roar, etc. Lion refers to the lion among men, that is, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Their voice is unique, it is proclaimed jointly by themselves.

For the sake of subduing all the deer who refute other external paths, this is the sound of emptiness. Its proclamation is the teaching, which is the adornment of things for its own sake. The proclamation of the lion's roar is the very teaching of emptiness, therefore, the Prajnaparamita is to be realized, that is its meaning. However, if the Blessed One has seen the various teachings of the Prajnaparamita, but it is not merely the nature of emptiness, then the meaning of "all dharmas are without confusion" is that without confusion is the very doubt of not being other. That is the meaning of speaking in the manner of ultimate truth. If there are other teachings in the sutras, but those are conventional truths, in the manner of ultimate truth, only emptiness is taught. These words are numerous in this place, and they were not recited in the previous books, because the questioners were not careful. From those very books, "Subhuti, form is like the ocean" and so on, are recited for the sake of being declared again. However, some people think that these characteristics of the Prajnaparamita, which are said to be "the ocean is boundless" and so on, do not occur in form and so on. Otherwise, the Prajnaparamita would not be pervasive. Therefore, considering that these characteristics will also occur in form and so on, because of the doubt of "why is that?", it is said "Subhuti, form is" and so on. Just as the Prajnaparamita is similar to the ocean by the nature of emptiness and boundlessness, so also the five aggregates of form and so on are similar to the ocean, just as what the Prajnaparamita is, and what form and so on are, all of these are of one nature. Just like the nature of emptiness, that is its intention. Similarly, it is also to be understood as being similar to the sky and so on, after saying "consciousness is similar to various Mount Merus."
