The meditation on an object with such a nature is for the purpose of directly realizing the inexpressible true nature. It is the intention that it is practiced because the nature of cause and effect is certain. So, does emptiness, which is completely afflicted, become pure by the arising of an antidote? Therefore, it is said that it would become something conditioned. This is because there is no prevention, meaning that all phenomena are naturally pure, so for those who have defilements, there is nothing to be abandoned. Because it is equal to abandonment, it means that because it is free from faults, it is originally equal to abandonment. However, although suchness is naturally pure, all phenomena are seen as defiled by defilements such as desire, so they become impure at all times. It is said that all phenomena have attained nirvana, meaning that just as suchness is, all phenomena are also naturally pure. How is it pure? Through equality with suchness. How is their suchness naturally completely pure, so are they. How is it equal through their suchness? It is said that all phenomena, etc. Do not come, refers to the future time. Do not go, refers to the past time. Thus, because time is not understood, it is said that all phenomena do not understand, do not arise, and are extremely unborn. With just this, the Bodhisattvas accomplish their own benefit perfectly. Although there is this perfection of one's own benefit, it is very difficult because of the difficulty itself. Benefiting others is difficult because sentient beings are limitless and are tightly bound by the ropes of afflictions. It is said that because one does not see self and other, it means that one does not see any difference called self and other. It means that one sees all sentient beings as equal to oneself. After this, how should one separately understand the antidote to the thought of difficulty?

As it is said. Among them, first, in order to clarify the difficult notion for sentient beings to attain Arhatship and so on, it is said: All dharmas are called noble Arhats. All dharmas refer to the objects of sentient beings' terms. Noble Arhats refer to those who are completely pure by nature, simply because of the nature of dharma. The so-called not carrying burdens is because burdens have no self-nature. In order to tame sentient beings, going to the Buddha lands in the ten directions, it is said to dispel the difficult notion: All dharmas are without place and without direction. That is to say, without place and without direction. The so-called nature of self-nature refers to the nature of forms and so on, which is suchness, that is its nature. Its place is not existent, because it is the undegrading dharma. Direction is also non-existent, because it is indivisible like space. In order to abandon the happiness of samsara, it is said to generate the difficult notion: All dharmas, for the cessation of samsaric beings, complete pacification is the generation of the notion of happiness. Therefore, one should recollect the Prajnaparamita. As it is said: Alas! All conditioned things are impermanent, are of the nature of arising and ceasing. Having arisen and ceased, surpassing that, swift pacification is bliss. Thus it is said. This much speaks of the method of taming the Shravakas. Speaking with emphasis on the taming of Bodhisattvas: There is no joy, and no absence of joy. Difficulty refers to manifest joy, and the joy here does not refer to samsara or nirvana. Similarly, the absence of joy here does not refer to being apart from samsara or nirvana either. If one were to manifest joy in samsara, then at that time one would become an afflicted one and wander in samsara. Becoming an afflicted one would also wander, and one's own Buddha-dharma would not fully mature. One would also not be able to accomplish the perfection of generosity and other paramitas. Sentient beings would not fully mature. If

If one becomes manifestly delighted in Nirvana, due to being swift, swiftly disregarding the realm of sentient beings, one will completely perfect the Buddha's teachings and fully enter Nirvana. Similarly, if this also becomes separated from the joy of samsara, one will fall into the Nirvana of the Hearers. If one is also separated from the joy of Nirvana, the mind of enlightenment will not increase. It is said that even those who are completely afflicted will transmigrate in samsara. In any case, this does not truly arise in things that are separated from joy, as it is said: because there is no attachment and no separation from attachment. Because there is no self-grasping and no grasping of things, there is no attachment. Because one realizes that the causes of aversion, such as aging and death, have no inherent nature, one is not truly separated from attachment to samsara. In any case, this is what is called. Why is that? Because of doubt, it is said, such as, "Subhuti, form is..." etc. If that is the case, then for the characteristic of liberation that does not abide in samsara and Nirvana, this will manifest attachment, as it is said: because all dharmas are separated from the clinging to attachment and non-attachment. For liberation, which is characterized by not delighting in samsara and Nirvana, one does not obtain attachment to them. Why is that? Because it is separated from attachment and non-attachment, that is to say, Bodhisattvas do not closely fixate on attachment or non-attachment to anything. Then, by what nature do they see Nirvana or samsara? As it is said, "Enlightenment," etc. Enlightenment is the nature of emptiness, the characteristic of the Dharmakaya. All dharmas are the nature of the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya. For both of these, it is also by the very nature of what is comprehended by the transcendental wisdom of the Buddhas. Thus, having spoken of the nature of liberation, which is characterized by not abiding in samsara and Nirvana, the cause is explained, that is, all dharmas are emptiness. Because these dharmas are all...
