Fourth, explained after summarizing everything for easy understanding. Fourth, explained after summarizing everything for easy understanding. Through the condensed, intermediate, and extensive approaches, starting from the knowledge of all aspects and the knowledge of the path, the teachings of the Prajñāpāramitā are completely perfected, and again, for the sake of easy understanding, the Blessed One taught after summarizing everything, such as "Subhuti, furthermore," etc. "Thus" refers to the order to be explained. "Prajñāpāramitā" refers to being summarized by the knowledge of all aspects and the knowledge of the path, including with and without conceptualization. "Because all dharmas are without attachment" means that because of the absence of inherent existence, they cannot be destroyed. What is said in "Then, is there not even a little existence?" is "Because all dharmas are indivisible." Indivisibility is emptiness, by which, in the true sense, all dharmas are of one essence. What is said in "Then, if that is so, would it follow that it is substantial by its nature?" is "Because all dharmas are unarisen." The general characteristic of all dharmas does not exist by the nature of substance, but to express the meaning of being liberated from substance and non-substance. If all dharmas are of one nature in that way, then how can the distinctions such as "This is affliction, this is purification" be explained? What is said is "Because all dharmas are equal without change." Whatever is the unchanging nature of emptiness, the characteristic of dharmas, this is equal to it, even not by the nature of conventional elaboration. Or, by the nature of other-dependence of these dharmas, which is the nature of complete awareness, these are also made equal. Therefore, why is it said to be unchanging and equal? What is said is "Because all dharmas are understood by wisdom to be without self and without consciousness." The nature of these, other-dependence, is the nature of false appearance,

is merely a fabrication. Therefore, since it is not realized as it is with wisdom that transcends the world, why is it equality? However, having realized the suchness of the nature of things, whatever is taught by the Thus-Gone One should be known and directly experienced from that. If even the nature of other-power does not exist, then who will teach to whom with what? "All dharmas," etc., are merely expressions of names and terms, and the nature of these things, which is other-power, is not experienced in the realm of sound. "Will arise in the suchness of terms" refers to the imputation of terms, which is not to anyone. If any sound expresses any thing, then when it becomes the nature of that thing, even before comprehension, those who are not skilled in words will understand that thing by that name. Therefore, by whom and where will that name be imputed as a term? By no one, if the term becomes merely manifest in the word, then just as a vase arises from a lamp, it is originally the nature of that thing. If that is the case, the sound of wood will never express a vase by the power of words. All things are expressed by all sounds through the power of words. Sounds bend limbs in some places, but cannot be seen. Therefore, terms are not from words. "Anything" etc., refers to seeing various names on the same thing, such as earth, ground, etc. It is unreasonable for the same thing to have various natures. "All dharmas" etc., show by summarizing, the unspeakable is that which cannot be termed by the nature of the spoken and the speaker. "Then how can the Perfection of Wisdom be taught therein?" refers to "because all dharmas have no measure," that is, whatever is the ultimate truth of all dharmas, it is separated from measure by its universal existence, and should be taught conventionally by the nature of emptiness.

It is also said that "the nature of forms and so on is also," which is because "form is immeasurable," and so on. However, there is nothing whatsoever called "measure" other than the nature that is separate from the characteristics of blue and so on. Therefore, it is said in the sutra, "How to follow it," which is because "all dharmas are without characteristics," and so on. All dharmas are without characteristics because there is no elaboration of the nature of the completely imputed and the other-powered. Therefore, one should follow the Prajnaparamita. Then, since there is no thing, what is called Prajnaparamita? It is said in the sutra, "In order to truly distinguish all dharmas," and so on. Truly distinguishing all dharmas means to realize them with the nature of the perfectly established, by the wisdom that transcends the world. This is the meaning of Prajnaparamita. So, what is the meaning of Prajnaparamita? If it is said to be "pure," then by what is it purified? Not by the self, because there is no self. Nor by the five aggregates, because they are not real either. It is said in the sutra, "All dharmas are naturally pure," which is because the nature of all dharmas is emptiness, so it is pure. If emptiness is also naturally pure, then accidental stains will defile it. For example, the sky is defiled by clouds, darkness, fog, and so on. Later, Prajnaparamita itself becomes pure by eliminating these. For example, the sky becomes pure by the wind and so on eliminating the clouds and so on. However, since there is no abandonment of accidental stains, the antidote is impossible. Therefore, everything will become liberated. Since there is no teaching of completely knowing the antidote, teaching it is also the object of the nature of the completely imputed. The nature of the completely imputed also does not function in the slightest, because it does not exist like a rabbit's horn. It is said in the sutra, "All dharmas are without words," which refers to the grasped and the grasper.
