If one speaks of earth, how should one speak? One should think like this. After that, to the elder Subhuti, it is shown and abides that the practice of non-abiding is abiding in the Perfection of Wisdom. The mind is said to be extremely non-abiding, which is spoken because it goes to the non-abiding Nirvana. 'Conditioned' refers to the three realms. 'Unconditioned' refers to Nirvana, because in both, it is not perceived by its own nature. 'Not rising from that' means that abiding and rising occur for things that exist. Therefore, a Bodhisattva who follows the Dharma of the Tathagata should train in the Perfection of Wisdom, which is shown. From then on, etc., like that, the Bodhisattva's attention to the Buddha is for the sake of Bodhi. That is also the characteristic of non-abiding, therefore, abiding in the Perfection of Wisdom, one should train in that way. What is said here is, 'How is the Tathagata?' 'Not abiding' means 'not rising.' 'Not non-abiding' means 'not dwelling.' Some recite 'not abiding in disagreement.' 'One should abide in that way' means after attaining perfect Bodhi. It is also said, 'From the cause that is in accordance,' 'How is the abiding of the Tathagata?' How the Tathagatas, the Bodhisattvas, in the stage of the path, the characteristic of particularly admiring the non-abiding of all the dharmas in which they abide, one should abide in that way, because that particularly admiring is made to appear to turn towards. 'One should train' means abandoning all opposing sides and following that. Even so, one abides well, because one abides on the path that is in accordance with Bodhi. Therefore, it is said, 'In the manner of non-abiding,' that is, by the practice of non-abiding as spoken. This is a summary of the previous promise, and what is said is 'with this, like that,' etc.

Thus, for those who are to be tamed by the teaching of non-expression, which elucidates the establishment of the non-abiding abode, doubts will arise. Then, starting from those, the occasion for teaching elsewhere is opened up, that is, starting from "Then, from within that assembly," and so on. The term "some" refers to those gods of profound nature who elucidate the establishment of the non-abiding abode, and who express themselves in the language of the noble ones. The yakshas are those who connect the sounds of secret meanings. Sound is the words that are highly renowned in their own lineage and possess the nature of terminology, which is the meaning of the so-called yaksha language. Sound is characterized by the distinctions of sound rhythms, because they also need to understand the differences in meaning. Words are the collection of secret letters. The so-called discussion refers to the secret expressions that have meaning for one's own retinue, also with different thoughts. The so-called complete expression refers to those who make distinctions by means of the differences in the efforts of the tongue and so on. The term "understandable" refers to terminology and conventions, because of the order of habituation, its meaning is common with the world. The term "also thinks it is incomprehensible" refers to the meaning of non-abiding in form and so on, because it is not well-known in the world, so it has not been understood before. The so-called explanation refers to which languages. The so-called complete expression refers to the collection of languages. The so-called showing refers to teaching. The so-called approximate showing refers to showing accordingly. Here, because Subhuti did not realize it, everything is inexpressible, so it is shown and proclaimed approximately. The so-called "incomprehensible" and so on, the two expressions are certain. Because of the expression, it is not understandable. The so-called "there is not even a slight mention of this" refers to the Prajnaparamita, because it is inexpressible. The so-called "no hearing" means that even one letter is an expression of the Prajnaparamita, so there is no hearing. Or, like this, the sound does not express the meaning, the meaning beyond that is...
