Now is the recitation of speaking in the cave. The so-called "name" and "form" refer to other practitioners and other objects of focus, serving as names, hence the name. When the consciousness of entering the womb is gathered, it is the four non-form aggregates. Form refers to softness, etc., because they grow from consciousness. As it is said, Ananda, if consciousness does not enter the mother's womb, would name and form grow and expand there? The answer is: No. Therefore, it is said that it is from birth and the consciousness of name and form itself. Growth is expressed by skillful metaphors. The six sense bases refer to name and form themselves completely transforming into the nature of the six sense bases. Contact refers to the collection of object, sense faculty, and consciousness. By means of it, one can enter various objects. After entering, three kinds of feelings arise. With it, when experiencing feelings of pleasure, etc., craving arises. Grasping refers to the desire for future existence, etc., holding on to the mind's continuity, hence grasping. In order to connect to the next life, it is the karmic habit itself. The karma that will arise, the fruit of existence in the three realms, is called existence. Because this existence continuously produces the next life, it is consciousness. Birth refers to the order of states such as name and form, causing sentient beings to arise, because one obtains other states from higher to higher. All states such as name and form themselves are birth. With birth, the decay of youth is old age. The destruction of life is death. Even without acknowledging one of them, death will occur due to aging. From the birth place of womb-born beings, because there are no name and form, etc., the six sense bases, etc., will not truly arise. Connected with existence, separated from the nature of joy and happiness, inner pain is sorrow. Crying out tormented by sorrow is lamentation. The complete descent of discomfort on the five senses is suffering. The descent of displeasure on the mind is distress. Body and mind preceded by it.

The toil of the earth is strife. All this truly arises from birth itself. It is shown closely for the purpose of generating aversion. Subhuti, this refers to the suchness of the aggregates and so forth, in terms of their inexhaustibility. The two extremes are birth and destruction. The middle is abiding after birth. Unmixed means not shared with others. Such seeing and so forth are the benefits of meditating on inexhaustibility. Any dharma without a cause means seeing dependent arising. Constant or means without beginning or end. Steadfast means without destruction after birth. Permanent means not abiding by the nature of coming and going. Immutable dharma means without other states. Agent or experiencer means without abandoner or taker. Subhuti, this refers from etc. to the collection of texts, up to unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, which is easy to understand. Subhuti, therefore, means that because this does not apprehend the characteristics of all dharmas, and possesses such qualities, the Prajnaparamita is that cause. Binding refers to the time when all dharmas are not apprehended. What is to be accomplished by the six perfections is Bodhi. Therefore, how should one practice the Prajnaparamita? Why is that? Because of doubt, it is said: Subhuti, practicing the Prajnaparamita means etc. Because the three circles are not completely pure, giving and so forth are not paramitas, nor are they the cause of perfect Bodhi. The purification of the three circles depends on the meaning of the Prajnaparamita. In order to stabilize skillful means, the means are taught, namely Subhuti, when etc. Why should one not bind? For this doubt, the reason is taught, namely their also etc. The fruit to be contemplated is taught, namely after contemplating thus etc. Ba

Those "dharmas" refer to the practice of the Prajnaparamita, and so on. These "generating minds" refer to "one should attain those dharmas accordingly," and so on. Subhuti, for example, and so on, speaks of the distinctions of Bodhisattvas. For this purpose, it is actually for the purpose of cutting off the actions of those to be tamed. The so-called "scattering flowers" or the Tathagatas in the stage of Bodhisattvas are prophesied in this chapter. Therefore, those chapters approximately symbolize that chapter, which is the twenty-eighth chapter. Third, the extensive exposition explains the aspects of the Bodhisattva path, explaining the knowledge of the aspects themselves, and so on.
