Because the mind and the mind of dedication do not meet, and because the mind that focuses on things and the object of meritorious deeds do not meet, and because the one who dedicates and the object to be dedicated do not meet, and in order to make the dedication completely non-existent. It is said that the two minds do not meet, which means that after rejoicing with a loving mind, the mind of dedication has also been exhausted, ceased, separated, and changed. Among them, "that" refers to the mind of rejoicing. "Exhausted" is a general indication, and the rest is a detailed explanation. "Cessation" means complete destruction. "Separation" means non-dwelling. "Change" means no longer arising. "What is the mind" means not even a little. Because at that time there is no self-nature. It is said that the mind that focuses on things, etc., does not exist, which means "What is that mind?" etc. Among them, "that mind" means that holding the deeds of merit, etc., is the reason for exhaustion. The object of meritorious deeds is also the reason for exhaustion. "What" means becoming karma. "The one who dedicates and the object to be dedicated do not meet" means "How can the mind dedicate the mind?". It is said that "How can it not be possible" means "When the two minds do not meet," etc. Meeting means simultaneity. Pointing out that dedication itself is impossible means "That mind itself cannot dedicate," etc. The mind of discrimination is without self-nature, pointing out that without things, it cannot be the meaning of dedication. Thus, when the abiding one stops dedicating with characteristics, Indra rejoices and says, "Holy Subhuti," etc., because it is very profound for the complete maturation of the formless in front of those who newly enter the Mahayana, it is the intention of being unspeakable. Thus also the vehicle.

For those newly entering, it is impossible to fully dedicate. Asking the self-nature of the elders' rejoicing and dedication, as said by the venerable Subhuti. A Bodhisattva refers to one newly entering the Mahayana. Here, in order for the elder Maitreya to answer, clarifying Indra's intention in asking and showing the asking, such as "Then, the elder, venerable Subhuti," etc. To begin means to take control. The spoken "how" refers to "based on," the basis being used as the foundation for the question. What is that? Here it is with the word Maitreya. To him it was said. Starting from "Maitreya, for this," up to "how not to have inverted perceptions," etc. Previously, in order to enter into non-things and non-objects, the inversions of perceptions, etc., were shown. Therefore, with the mind of rejoicing and the mind of dedication, etc., as characterized by four aspects, it is considered unreasonable to dedicate. Considering the point that the elder himself immediately spoke, namely the distinction of "how perceptions, etc., do not become inverted for the new ones." The venerable Maitreya, in this way, also with the power of learning for the new ones, the rejoicing and dedication of non-attachment and union can arise correctly. Otherwise, the spoken inversion itself, such as the venerable Subhuti "if," etc. Because there are no thoughts such as mind, it does not become inverted, this is the first answer. With what mind does one dedicate, refers to with what mind does one make dedication. Therefore, it refers to for the sake of good understanding. Fully dedicated refers to very fully dedicated. Spoken for the purpose of clarification, such as "how," etc., summarized with "thus," etc. So, at what time will it become inverted? Therefore it is said.

Thus and so forth. Now, the mind of rejoicing and the mind of dedicating, because of exhaustion, and also because of the absence of enlightenment, because of emptiness, there is no dedication of all dharmas, therefore, in the ultimate sense, there is no dedication, thus one should think and dedicate, dedication is truly dedicating, this is the second. That which demonstrates it is, if again, and so forth. Whatever mind is dedicating, that is, having become dedicated. Thus, knowing correctly is the brief statement. This, like the mind, is the extensive explanation, which means to attend without reversing. That which is, and so forth, is connected with the mind thinking in that way. Exhaustion is because of being past. Attending with aspects such as exhaustion, unable means because of non-existence, like a rabbit's horn. The nature of those is also that, which means without self-nature. Which dharmas means mental events and so on. To which dharmas means to perfect enlightenment and so on. If it is like that and so on, it is a summary. This statement is made with regard to the past Buddhas, because they themselves are the main ones. Again, the third is spoken in relation to the future Buddhas, noble Subhuti, furthermore, and so on. Speaking with regard to those who appear in the present, again, the fourth spoken is, noble Subhuti, furthermore, and so on. Again, having summarized into one, the bodhisattvas of the past, future, and present, the hearers, the vehicles of solitary Buddhas, and the ordinary beings, whatever merit there is, having rejoiced in them and dedicated it, attending to them with exhaustion, thus, until the nature of enlightenment is extremely pure, with the characteristic of inexhaustibility, one makes the unsurpassed dedication, thus the fifth spoken is, noble Subhuti, furthermore, and so on. Again, dedicating
