That has been said. In order to clarify the meaning of what was said with what intention, it is explained by "those" etc. What are "what things" etc., refers to all the Tathagatas of the ten directions etc. What is "whatsoever," is another question asking whether it can be apprehended. What are "what objects" etc., refers to roots of virtue etc. What are "what aspects" etc., refers to the aggregates of morality and samadhi etc. What is "that mind," refers to the mind of rejoicing. What is "whatsoever," is another question asking whether it can be apprehended. Grasping at characteristics is to make distinctions, otherwise rejoicing and dedication etc. would be unreasonable. The intention is this: because one engages by focusing on the roots of virtue of all the Buddhas etc. from the ten directions, the rejoicing of Bodhisattvas, and the roots of virtue engage with non-things and non-objects, will one obtain a result equal to the four inversions? Or if things and objects exist slightly, then one will obtain the saying that all dharmas exist. Or if they do not exist, then everything does not exist. How does one accomplish dedication to non-objects of things and objects, and roots of virtue, and rejoicing and meritorious deeds? Having said this, the Bodhisattva Maitreya who is fully matured, the Bodhisattva who has realized the wisdom of emptiness, dedicating by means of his characteristics exists, as it is said, is the venerable Subhuti "those things" etc. What the abbot said: If etc., then who newly realizes emptiness and makes dedication, will his inversion not change? Among them, the inversion of perception is: temporarily, towards the roots of virtue etc. that are without self-nature, thinking that these roots of virtue are truly dedicated to Bodhi, making such speculations, is the inversion of view. Whoever makes such speculations about it

Patience, desire, establishment, and manifest attachment, as well as a mind that is inverted. If the mind does not turn away from the object of attachment to that very thing, these are examples of desire for the purpose of accomplishment. Desire arises from truly conceiving of things that have ceased to exist, and this is related. That which shows the aspect of true conception is to regard impermanence as permanence, etc. To conceptually examine means to impute. To thoroughly examine means that attachment arises by manifestly clinging to aspects such as permanence. This is also the nature of inversion, that is, if one thoroughly examines this impermanence as permanence, and as long as one thoroughly examines impurity as purity, that is an inverted perception. If one is patient and desires such a thorough examination of that very thing, that is an inverted view. If one manifestly clings to that very thing in that way, then afflictions such as desire become an inverted mind. Thus, desire is the nature of inverted perceptions, etc. Rejoicing and dedicating mindfulness are the same as that, that is, because one also focuses on what is not an object, it becomes inverted. Furthermore, the word "other" serves the need for the desire of others, and the word "mind also" refers to the mind of dedication. The word "all dharmas" is a brief statement. The word "all realms" is an extensive explanation. If, again, faults are stated with "if," etc., then it is "therefore, whatever things," etc., those who are connected with the mind of rejoicing. Whatever mind is the mind of dedication. Because it is also without inherent nature, "where" means to whom. Dedication The meaning of the unchanging nature itself. "Where" does not mean emitting in some place. Here, when the noble Maitreya manifested Suchness, he taught emptiness from among the new students who were separated from relying closely on spiritual friends. Here, it is said that it is not a suitable vessel.

English

The noble Subhuti, this is not, and so on. That which should not be spoken of as seven is the meaning of the scripture. That which should not be taught is the meaning of the meaning. Among the teachings, etc., it shows the faults of falling away from what has been attained and falling away from what has not been attained. Among them, whatever is merely different, etc., these will not exist. Where will they not exist? In rejoicing and dedication, etc. The meaning of the word 'merely' is the meaning of uninterrupted. Faith is the cause of perfect enlightenment, which is trust. Joy is joy, which is desire. Adhimukti is from that place, wherever the qualities that exist arise as they are, therefore it is in accordance, free from mental turbidity. Reverence is that which, with reverence, makes offerings to it, etc., without transgressing. Thus, because there is no subsequent practice, the difference of falling away from what has not been attained is shown. For those who have matured, it is shown that there is no fault in speaking. The meaning of non-retrogression is because the first ground has been attained. Whoever is a new learner who has not realized that reality, who relies on a spiritual friend, for him also, because of skillful means. One who has approached the near attainment, the practice of rejoicing and dedication, one who has special faith in the conventional truth, also relies on the ultimate truth as it is, relying on the practice of dedication without an object of focus. In that also, there is no fault of inversion or falling away. In that also, it is said that there is no fault in speaking, that is, whoever is a spiritual friend, one who is close is one who has been close. Cowardice is the inferiority of mind. Complete discouragement is seeing the nature of mind as it is. Shyness is fatigue. Shrinking is the continuation of fatigue. Fear is the lack of diligence. The fear of Brahma is complete fear. Its continuation is accompanied by complete fear. To say thus is to be without ghosts, etc. Now, in order to show the dedication of those who abide in the ultimate truth, it is measured in four ways, thereby showing that the dedication is unreasonable. Maitreya, with what mind, etc., that is, of rejoicing.
