It is the meaning of relying. Infinite space is infinity itself. That itself is the birthplace; the door of mind called the door of birthplace is the birthplace. Entering into samadhi means having attained and realized it. To abide means to dwell closely. Here, having completely transcended the perception of form, with the aim of infinite space, with the characteristic of one-pointedness of mind, the attachment to form is completely pacified, and each is closely established, which is its samadhi. The second is because the first samadhi has been completely transcended. Infinite consciousness is called consciousness because it enables discernment. Infinite consciousness is the birthplace, just like the beginning and the end. Moreover, consciousness is called infinite because it is not form, because there is no complete severance in what is grasped. Because it holds infinite space, it is called infinite, and so are the others. Due to the power of increased aspiration, or because the formless limbs are diminished from meditation, one will truly proceed. However, the object has been truly transcended, and in that, the perceptions of form, etc., have long been eliminated, so it is the thought of truly practicing, having truly transcended the birthplace of infinite space. Seeing the fault of the ultimate desire of that, the characteristic of one-pointedness of mind with the aim of the birthplace of infinite consciousness, seeing peace in the definite arising. The third is having transcended from the second, so-called nothingness, the thing of nothingness is nothingness, that is the birthplace, which is the basis of mind's holding. In the beginning, the perceptions of form, etc., have been truly transcended, and in the second, it is the perception of infinite space. Here, so-called infinite space, what fault is there in perception, those are infinite and complete, if it becomes a doubt, then as previously said, without making any slight intention, consciousness does not abide. Thus, this fault of the ultimate desire of the birthplace of infinite consciousness has been transcended, for the one who definitely arises with the thought of peace, the characteristic of one-pointedness of mind with the aim of nothingness.

It is so. The fourth is the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. In this, perception is like an arrow, because it is completely abandoned, because it is absent. Non-perception is also attainable, which is ignorance, which is completely abandoned, seeing the nature of subtle perception in another order, which is the birthplace. Therefore, it is called the birthplace because it strives for the sake of attention. Because of the distracted nature of that and that perception, because of the doubt of retreating from all faults, the birthplace of nothingness is also completely abandoned, seeing the faults of desire and so on, and definitely leaving, in other birthplaces, it is a peaceful knower, it is an object of neither perception nor non-perception, it is a characteristic of one-pointedness of mind. The formlessness of these is mainly because it is the antidote to the perception of form, and because the four aggregates such as feeling are matured. The so-called six superknowledges, the superknowledge of superknowledge, means that relying on meditation, for the sake of walking in various empty spaces, in the perfection of superknowledge, possessing samadhi, and wisdom, and the mind and mental factors that are truly in accordance with it. The divine ear superknowledge is the perfection of hearing all sounds, such as subtle and hidden ones, as before. The superknowledge of the varieties of minds is the perfection of the extreme entry into the behavior of the minds of other sentient beings who have attachment and so on, as before. The superknowledge of remembering past lives is the perfection of being able to remember the behavior of past lives, as before. The superknowledge of the knowledge of death and birth is the place where one can truly see the death and birth of sentient beings in the six realms, which is perfection, as before. The superknowledge of the exhaustion of outflows is the perfection of the wisdom of the exhaustion of outflows, relying on meditation, which means if samadhi, and wisdom, and the mind and mental factors that are truly in accordance with it. The so-called thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are the mindfulness.
