Also, it is because it is spoken by its own sound. Abandoning joy, it is said that even if it is abandoned by joy itself, it is still practicing correctly for those who do not have complete mindfulness and awareness. Here, the fruit is happiness itself, which is truly combined with the mind that confuses it, and thus obtains the distinction of one-pointedness, and obtains accordance, because joy is completely abandoned. The nature is as before. Thus, for those who rejoice in the faults, renunciation, and peaceful objects of desire and joy, and who possess the happiness of explanation, the third dhyana is characterized by one-pointedness of mind. For the fourth, pure equanimity is the cause. Equanimity and mindfulness have already been explained. Their purity means that they are not closely related to those who previously dwelt in meditation, such as happiness. This is also because it is extremely shown, so for mindfulness, the complete purity of awareness does not speak of different fruits. Because it is neither happiness nor suffering, feeling is said to be free from action because there is no feeling similar to it by establishing the object with equanimity in the absence of perception, etc., and obtaining immovability and complete purity. Mindfulness is also the same. This itself is the fruit here, but it is not happiness. Because happiness is extremely superior. Mindfulness is also not close to those who are attached to the mind alone, even for those who have wisdom, because there is a difference, because happiness is completely abandoned. The nature is as before. Thus, for the faults, renunciation, and peace of desire, joy, and happiness themselves as objects, equanimity and mindfulness are completely pure, and the fourth dhyana is characterized by one-pointedness. These dhyanas are called possessing the limbs of enlightenment, and they are supramundane, and are fully in accordance with the seven limbs of enlightenment, which are characterized by mindfulness, discrimination of dharmas, joy, tranquility, equanimity, diligence, and samadhi, and are not mundane. For supramundane ones, the true combination of the seven is not the mind, joy

Because there is no complete entry into things like existence. The four immeasurables are love, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Because they are the objects of practice for limitless sentient beings in all directions, they are immeasurable. May these sentient beings meet with happiness, this is love. May they be free from suffering, this is compassion. May they not be separated from happiness, this is joy. May the clinging to objects that are the cause of desire, and may the all-pervasive afflictions of hatred, which are the cause of desire and suffering, be liberated, this is equanimity. These aspects of happiness, and the thought of true union, and the thought of wanting to be free from suffering, and the thought of wanting not to be separated from happiness, and the thought of being without all-pervasive afflictions, have been explained. The four formless absorptions are the four absorptions, namely the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, and the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Among them, the first absorption is that after completely transcending all perceptions of form, abandoning the perceptions of anger, and not paying attention to various thoughts, because space is infinite, one abides in absorption in the sphere of infinite space, this is the sutra. Among them, the so-called perceptions of form are those that rely on form or have form as their object. Therefore, abandoning those thoughts that are truly associated with eye consciousness, anger is harm, the thoughts of the true aggregation of sound, smell, taste, and touch, and the consciousness of ear, nose, tongue, and body are truly associated and cut off. The so-called various thoughts are that various thoughts are consciousness with various objects, and the true corresponding non-attention is that there is no true correspondence. Infinite is immeasurable. The so-called space is that it must arise from form, this is the sound of the mind.
