Discriminating is observation. The term "small" means without clinging, etc. The term "holding" means not interrupted by oneself, and not even abandoning the book itself. The term "placing" means that with the intention of benefiting others, one must definitely engage with some books. The principle of the Buddha is the Prajnaparamita that enables the attainment of omniscience. The term "the principle of Dharma" also enables the attainment of the Dharma of the nature of the path and the fruit when reciting. The reason for the interruption is that because this book is incomplete, hearing and so on cannot arise correctly. The term "the disappearance of the Holy Dharma" refers to the Holy Dharma with the characteristics of scripture and realization. The Bhagavati-ma is the lord of all Dharmas, or offering to her correctly is when all the Holy Dharma disappears. Therefore, as the offering is spoken of, no matter how one offers stupas of seven precious jewels, the merit is not as great as offering to the Bhagavati-ma. Similarly, the measure of the complete Jambudvipa and the immeasurable sentient beings of the four continents, as well as the measure of one thousand sentient beings, the measure of two thousand sentient beings, the measure of three thousand sentient beings, and the measure of all sentient beings of the great thousand worlds, offering to these stupas of the measure of all sentient beings is not as meritorious as offering to the Bhagavati-ma. Similarly, if all sentient beings in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges each build stupas of seven precious jewels and offer them, the merit is not as great as offering to the Bhagavati-ma, and the reason for this should also be explained, let alone as spoken of, etc. The term stupa refers to that which pervades the entire Jambudvipa. This is the continent, because the fruit is great, it is symbolized by the great Jambudvipa tree, therefore it is Jambudvipa. In the center is Mount Sumeru, a great precious mountain with four natures, and in the four directions are the four continents, namely Purvavideha, Jambudvipa, Aparagodaniya, and Uttarakuru. Because it has these, it is the four continents, and for its own sake, it is dependent origination. Because it has a thousand times the measure of the four continents, it is a thousandfold.

Because it possesses essence, it is the general essence. Because it has the measure of two thousand, it is two thousand, meaning thousand and thousand. That is also the middle, because it is the middle of the thousand and the great thousand worlds. Because it has the measure of three thousand, it is three thousand, meaning the thousand of the two thousand. That itself is the great thousand, the three thousand worlds. However, all sentient beings in it have become only humans, not before, not last, not after, meaning simultaneously. Here, sentient beings themselves are the sentient beings. The former people completely observed, took understanding as their own, and made various beings, etc., superior. For the sake of various activities, it is impossible for sentient beings to simultaneously and separately cling to the end of the kalpa. Kalpa or more than kalpa means that when the kalpa slightly exceeds, slightly insufficient means kalpa. Such is the nature, meaning the nature of paying homage to stupas in this way. Merit means the mind of merit. Here, it is said that Indra himself has special devotion and faith, such as saying, etc. The wisdom of the Buddha is for those who transcend measure. The wisdom of the Bhagavan is the immeasurable world, because it is the realm. Even so, here Indra himself prays that it is too little to briefly state the three thousand worlds. Look, etc. Here, in order to show Indra's special devotion, the Bhagavan's permission is said to be from then on, the Bhagavan, etc., is so, etc., because the Bhagavan is the only path to attain the omniscient knowledge of all Tathagatas, therefore, merely holding it and offering to its scriptures has the merit of offering to all Tathagatas.
