Being harmed is due to the shame related to oneself and others. Abandoning is due to the power of the support. Individually established is due to upholding vows such as not repeating. Difficult to obtain means that it can be obtained through suffering, but it is not that it cannot be obtained. If one asks, what is the use of seeking various antidotes and a single fall into antidotes? Indeed, for small methods there is great effect, but not for large methods. As in "until extremely heavy," etc. The meaning of the Hearer Vehicle is that in the Hearer Vehicle itself, the arising rituals, purification rituals, and broken vows rituals of the seven types of individual liberation vows are taught. Hearers, if they take the Bhikshu vows, if the Hearer wishes to learn, when attaining Hearer Nirvana, those who have not attained completely lose, and in that life, they completely lose the fruits of a Shramana, and because they do not have the qualification to uphold the Shramana vows, it becomes a great loss. If the fundamental downfalls of a Bodhisattva also lead to the loss of the Bodhisattva vows, this should be examined from the "Definitive Determination." Even so, if after upholding the vows of a layperson, etc., one properly takes the Bodhisattva vows, completely losing the fruits of a Shramana is obvious to him, because he does not desire Hearer Bodhi, and also because for perfect Bodhi, it is necessary to practice for three great incalculable eons, therefore there is no great loss for him. To show this, it is said "Hearers." The four are killing, stealing a quarter Karshapana, engaging in impure conduct, and falsely speaking of superhuman human qualities. Fundamental downfall is because there is no antidote. Non-Bhikshu is because of falling from the Bhikshu vows. Non-Shramana is because the fruits of a Shramana have not been obtained, and have been lost.

It is because of complete deterioration. Not being a son of Shakya is because one is not qualified to hold the precepts of a monk. The term "subtle and subtle" refers to those that are difficult to point out. Again, by showing the qualities of apparent solitude, the deeds of Mara are spoken of, such as "Furthermore." The phrase "residing in solitary places, forest edges, mountain caves, cemeteries, and remote dwellings" is the second collective term. The statement "It is solitude, I do not say" implies that there are two types of solitude: physical solitude and mental solitude. Among these, the mental solitude of Bodhisattvas is the most important, meaning it is the main thing. The term "solitary place" refers to things that arise from solitary places. That is why it is remote. The term "uninhabited land" refers to places that are isolated from people. Forest edges refer to empty places. Solitude means being separated. The inside of a village means nearby or in the same direction. The phrase "solitude through mental activity" means solitude through mental activity. Dependence means having little manifest attachment. Attachment means moderate. Greed means great. Having special greed means praising oneself with oneself. Living mixed together refers to householders and renunciates. Completely mixed refers to renunciates alone. Bodhisattva outcasts are those who do not live with them. Refuting means refuting them with one's own faults. The image of a Bodhisattva refers to learning the impure Dharma of a Bodhisattva. False means being similar in any way. The craving of a Bodhisattva is like a type of grass that causes crops to be lost, and this is also said to be for those who have newly entered the Mahayana. The phrase "disguising oneself as a practitioner is a thief" is because one holds Dharma that is not the appearance of a practitioner. A Dharma thief is one who does not desire Bodhisattvas. The remaining worldly thieves are those who are objects of evil offerings. With "having such a nature" and so on, noble ones should rely on such a person.
