Making poetry is speaking various untruths. Its action is poetry. Also, what I explain as "this" is the very existence of forms and so on in the ultimate sense. The realm of non-retrogression is nature. The term "basis" means that all arising follows and goes after the nature of how it abides. "Not defeated" means that it cannot be defeated by the reasoning of the nature of reality. "Of the nature of non-retrogression" means that even if those of the Hearer Vehicle and so on are not weary for the sake of their own ground and are urged on by gain and so on, they will not fall to that ground. What is shown by the demon is the ten signs of understanding the speech of the demon. Such as "Furthermore," etc., "It is the conduct of samsara" means that it abides in samsara itself for three countless eons. "You here" and so on, is to hold onto the path of the Hearers and so on. "Will not become manifest" means obtaining the nature of reality that will not become manifest in another life. "Thinking of completely grasping" means that here, when desire is not exhausted, one will definitely take another existence. Or the word "or" refers to discrimination. "This itself" and so on, or will say. Alas, do not do this for a while, etc., or this conduct will not become the fruit of complete enlightenment. Long practice also shows that it is the very culmination on the Hearer's ground, as said by the evil demon and so on. "Having obtained Arhatship" means that it is related to the attainment of "suitability." Abiding in Arhatship itself is through the attainment of individual gains. "Where will you change" means that there is no other cause for the conduct of long practice and so on. "Thus said" means that Buddhahood itself is not attainable by anyone. For what is generally shown, it is also specifically shown that for these practices of long practice and so on, it is Arhatship itself. The separator is the one who abandons the Great Vehicle. Words with that meaning are words of separation. Those who separate from others are demons.

Having heard from various sources, the mind will not be completely lost, this is related. Completely abandoning the Bodhicitta, here is complete loss. Why is it not completely abandoned? It means because of the power of Dharma-nature. Not turning back means not turning back from perfect Bodhi to the rear. Not becoming other means not being a wrong path, meaning not wanting the Hinayana. These refer to the connecting words. The tone of "and" indicates the reason, because knowing the actions of demons, one should be incompatible with others. That way, it means how to know and then narrate. If it says "that" etc., it summarizes what was said before. Obtaining forbearance of non-arising Dharma, this is the eleventh sign mentioned. Furthermore, etc., it means that when manifesting fabrication, it will produce. That Dharma also refers to form etc. Not perceiving etc., here it means that perception itself manifests fabrication, and that itself is what produces. Because there is forbearance of non-arising wisdom, it is polysemous. This commentary exists in the great commentaries, but not in this Bhagavati-mother, therefore the previous books are not cited. Non-retrogression itself, this is the twelfth sign mentioned. Furthermore, etc., it means that preventing desire is that desire will be prevented. Like the sky, it is because of the non-existence of self-nature. In order to clarify that, this Dharma is non-existent etc., knowing means using transcendental wisdom. Affliction means creating affliction, because without means one cannot obtain the fruit. Separation means abandoning Bodhicitta. That refers to perfect Bodhi. The mind is firm because demons etc. cannot hinder it. The mind is unwavering, meaning there is no doubt of "is it like this or not like this."

It is for this reason. The so-called unseizable mind is because there is no desire for the nirvana of the Shravakas and others. The thirteenth sign of not desiring the fruit of meditation is stated: Furthermore, if you want to know the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who does not regress, it refers to the first dhyana and so on. Some, in order to prevent the Hinayana, add "Mahasattva" after it, reciting "retreating from the grounds of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, entering into omniscience." It should be known that this is an addition to the meaning of the words themselves. The so-called "abiding in the dharmas of desire" means seeing the benefit of sentient beings and striving to be born in the desire realm, which is the fourteenth sign. The so-called "not particularly valuing names" refers to the connection between names and meanings and ultimate meaning. That is to say, seeing that all names are empty and unrelated to meaning, so they do not particularly value names. Therefore, they do not seek fame and so on. The so-called "their mind is not disturbed" means that their mind is not disturbed by the speech and so on of names that are empty and unrelated to meaning. The so-called "even if they live at home" is mostly for the sake of renunciation. The so-called "even if" means "if." Because of craving, they are desires, that is, objects such as form. Attachment to desire is union with them. Superior intention refers to the mind's special delight in them. It is related to "not arising particularly." The so-called "recognizing with aversion" means that those who have the perception of being free from desire recognize that the taste of desires is small and the faults are many. The so-called "recognizing with fear" is because it is the cause of the suffering of samsara. The so-called "not pursuing meaning" is because there is no desire for the future. The so-called "not being greedy" is because there is no attachment to what is born now. The so-called "not being attached" is because there is neither. It is the nature of joy, it is extremely
