It is called "that." "Having faith" means that because the garland-bearer previously focused on the path of no-signs and generated faith in it. Through this faith, the wisdom of no-signs is generated, and after each obtains it, by means of this wisdom of no-signs, since all dharmas are not objects, they enter into the dharmas with oneness. When holding form and separately contemplating, it is not focusing on the sign of form. Similarly, when holding feelings and so on and separately contemplating, it is also not closely focusing on the signs of the dharmas of feelings and so on. Therefore, even when that expression enters, it does not completely grasp form, and so on for feelings and so on. Here, the cause is spoken. Among them, that consciousness is called joy and bliss, that is, completely grasping onto the signless. There, it is not completely grasping onto the signless. Joy and bliss are born from samadhi, therefore the consciousness that is truly associated with right view, that is, the one who completely grasps, is also not truly seen. That consciousness of no-signs deeply enters into the aspect of no-signs separately, therefore knowing that all dharmas are empty of their own nature, therefore not grasping onto the signless, the consciousness that grasps is also not closely focused. This shows the time of not grasping wisdom. Again, why is that consciousness not truly seen? To this, the cause is also spoken, that is, "inner form" and so on. This is because the object consciousness of all dharmas such as form, at the time of not seeing, speaking of not seeing is because the garland-bearer holds his own consciousness and thinks, "I see this with this," this kind of conceptual consciousness does not abide within, nor does it abide outside, nor does it abide in both. It also does not abide elsewhere, therefore it is not truly seen, this is the concluding word. This is further clarified, that is, this different name of the word, is the difference of abiding in the signless samadhi. Having faith means generating a single certainty. Here, everything in this is a brief display, all that is knowing.

The so-called "this excellent wisdom" refers to particularly believing before the stage of realization. The stages of hearing and thinking, etc., are not mentioned. The so-called "to speak of this" appears in some places. Therefore, following with faith is to follow in connection. Taking the teachings that reveal the nature of reality as a measure, one particularly believes in this way. The so-called "object of focus" is to see with the nature of the object itself. Nirvana is supreme above all dharmas, but even so, one should not become arrogant because of it. This is the characteristic of the practice of not grasping onto this, and it should be known as Prajnaparamita. What is it that does not grasp? It has been said, such as "not grasping what form," and so on. The so-called "not completely passing into nirvana in the intermediate state" is because those with garlands are the realm of activity of the Buddhas, therefore they do not completely pass into nirvana in the intermediate state, but rather through incomplete powers, and so on. However, if one wonders how much that passing into nirvana in the intermediate state is, it is not the Bodhi of the Shravakas, because that is entering into Samadhi, which is the characteristic of not grasping onto all dharmas. So, how does the Bodhi of the Shravakas, which has the characteristic of realizing the selflessness of persons, completely pass into nirvana? This should be spoken of. The Buddha, who is the nature of the three bodies, with the characteristic of not dwelling extremely in samsara and nirvana, benefits beings as long as samsara exists. Because the Bodhisattvas have not attained what they should accomplish, they will cut off the initiation of activities for the benefit of beings with the wisdom of the selflessness of phenomena alone, and will become solely attached to nirvana. That nirvana will also be explained as being similar to the nirvana of the Shravakas. The so-called "this also" refers to the characteristic of not grasping in three ways, which is a summary. Having thus completely accomplished the practice of not grasping, one again initiates the practice of close examination, that is, "again," and so on, one should examine closely in this way, that is, one should analyze separately. One should definitely think, that is,
