The term "abandoning" means because the mind abandons. The term "returning" means because one no longer grasps. With just this, abandoning is spoken of. Saying "slander" means things like "one should not learn this." Saying "unpleasant words" means things like "this is not spoken by the Buddha." Those who, with love, wish to turn away from the obscurations of abandoning the sacred Dharma, which faces a great precipice, is extremely detestable, and accompanied by faults, should hold love close and say this: How is it that the Blessed One is not the speech of the Buddha? Therefore, it is said that because it is outside the Sutra Pitaka, the Abhidharma, and the Vinaya, all of the Great Vehicle is not the speech of the Buddha. Because what is said is that whatever enters the Sutra Pitaka, and is truly seen from the Vinaya, and does not contradict the nature of reality, that is what the Buddha spoke. The opposite is the opposite of that, which is proclaimed by the measure of showing greatness and showing darkness. One should say about this, taking the training of higher mind as the main thing, whatever dharmas are the mindfulness, the right abandonments, the feet of miraculous power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, etc., which are spoken of in the Sutras of the Hearers, those are also in the Great Vehicle. Therefore, how does it not enter the Sutra Pitaka? Taking the training of higher morality as the main thing, many aspects of bodily discipline and verbal discipline are also shown in the Great Vehicle, therefore, how does it not enter the Vinaya? In particular, here the nature of reality of all dharmas is shown, therefore, how can it contradict the nature of reality? If it is said that all that is shown from the Sutras of the Hearers, etc., is different, then the treatises of the Hearers are also different due to eighteen different classifications, and one division of the Sutra Pitaka does not contain all aspects of other divisions, and one Vinaya does not contain all aspects of other Vinayas, and also there is a wrong understanding of the things that should be fallen into. Similarly, for the nature of reality of one division

But this distinction is not absolute, because there is also debate about Nirvana. Some say that only the cessation of afflictions and birth is called Nirvana, while others merely speak of it in terms of names, believing that in what is seen, the cessation of afflictions and birth, that which is truly existent is called Nirvana, and so on. However, because there is no complete liberation, the teachings of the Tathagata (Sanskrit: Tathāgata), although different because of this, are still the teachings of the Tathagata (Sanskrit: Tathāgata) because there is no complete liberation, and therefore are the teachings of the Buddha. Similarly, in the dream of King Kṛkī, a piece of cloth was pulled by eighteen people, but it did not break. Similarly, although the teachings differ due to eighteen divisions, they are called completely abandoned because there is no complete liberation. If this is the case, then even in the Mahayana there are great differences, but because it has not abandoned the untruthful liberation, it is still the teachings of the Buddha. As it is said: One enters oneself, because of one's own, also seen in discipline, vast also because of profound, the nature of Dharma does not contradict. Therefore, whatever enters the Sutra of the Noble Truths, and truly sees in the subduing of afflictions, and does not contradict the nature of dependent arising, that is, all that is of one taste with liberation, is the teaching of the Buddha. However, how is it that there is no complete liberation in the Mahayana, but here it is shown that all is nothing? Just as in the Prajñāpāramitā, the Lord says that form is unreal, and even the Lord says that Bodhi is also unreal, in the Mahayana Sutras it is said that all dharmas are without self-nature, unborn, unceasing, originally peaceful, and naturally in complete Nirvana. If all dharmas are of the nature of unreality, then what is the path, and from where does the fruit of liberation come? This is unreasonable. The unreality of all dharmas is not taught by the Mahayana, all that is said of unreality is intentional.
