The so-called "Va-jyor does not exist" means that the venerable La-jyor is not non-existent again. If one is afraid of that state because of the two extremes, one cannot express it in any way. Why ask like that? Will the debate you are proposing become reasonable? After saying that, the venerable Shariputra said, if existence itself and non-existence itself do not exist, then the characteristic of no-mind will also not exist, why say no-mind? With this thought, he said: Venerable La-jyor, what is that no-mindness? Then, the venerable La-jyor, considering other characteristics of no-mind, said no-mind. However, because it was previously in a state of being defiled and engaged in conceptualization, it arose from that no-mindness. Now, for that non-existence, only admitting that the mind itself does not exist, so it is called no-mind. Therefore, he said: Venerable Shariputra, that no-mind is without change, without conceptualization. Because, like the previous state of mind, there is no change and no conceptualization, so here it is called the meaning of no-mindness. The noble Maitreya Bodhisattva also said: Just as water becomes clear after being stirred, that clarity itself does not arise from other places, but because it completely removes the dirt. For the purification of one's own mind, this ritual is also the same. The mind is inherently considered to be luminous, but it is always damaged by sudden faults. After abandoning the mind of Dharma-nature, for other minds, luminosity itself will not be achieved in its own nature. Just as water is inherently clear but is polluted by sudden turbidity, the mind is inherently luminous but is damaged by sudden faults, because the mind of Dharma-nature is not realized, so universal conceptualization is carried out for other minds, and the self-nature luminosity with the characteristic of other-dependence is not achieved. Therefore, the suchness of the mind, here refers to the intention that the mind should be recognized.

Then, after the venerable Rab-byor, called "That," had correctly explained the absence of mind, the venerable Shariputra immediately said, "Well done," that is, "Well done, well done." The word "also" means "clear." What is clear? It is said that just as you, the Blessed One, have said that abiding in the absence of afflictions is supreme, so it is taught. What is the absence of afflictions? Afflictions are afflictions. All Arhats have completely eliminated them from their own minds. Whoever is able to prevent afflictions from the minds of others is said to abide in the absence of afflictions. How is it possible? When one knows one's own object, etc., and cherishes that sentient being with infinite love for afflictions such as hatred, then those who are in accordance with the virtuous side, such as the Sangha and Kundga-rab, etc., abandon the means of livelihood that are easily found there, go to a place away from sentient beings, eat food, and completely escape from suffering, and do not meet sentient beings. As it is said: The Hearers see afflictions, But afflictions are not completely abandoned. That's it. Even so, the wisdom of the nature that follows the absence of afflictions in the minds of others is the absence of afflictions, and the samadhi of the nature of love that makes sentient beings free from all afflictions is another absence of afflictions. Furthermore, in the commentary on the Twenty Thousand Verses, it is said that the Hearer Vehicle, with its samadhi that is completely purified from the realm of the absence of afflictions, is the samadhi of the absence of afflictions. There, it should also be understood that it is contrary to the realm of afflictions in the minds of others, otherwise, what difference would there be for those who abide in the absence of afflictions? This is the explanation of the absence of afflictions by the Hearer Vehicle. Here, all the elaborations of all discriminations are afflictions, and because there are none of these, the samadhi that is free from discriminations is afflictions.
