It is so. At the time of initial birth, the contraction of the mind is settling, that is, the intermediate stage is complete withering. The great stage is caution. In whatever way one thinks, there the mind's displeasure is the mind turning outwards. Again, where one subdues and does not turn outwards is called the supreme excellence. There, the great is contraction, the habit of constant abiding is obtaining the vase. For displeasure, constant abiding is subduing and turning outwards. Thus, not abiding, for what has been done and without faith, and the three stages of small, medium, and large, should be combined. Thus, the fruit of the instruction is shown near and then concluded, saying "This is it," and so on. This is it, which is separated from non-objectifying all ultimate truths, contraction of the mind, and so on. That is the instruction of this, as it is recited in some places, this is the Prajnaparamita, the wisdom of the nature of non-objectifying all phenomena. This is the teaching, which is truly well combined from those. Thus, abiding means abiding in this non-objectifying of all phenomena. That is the teaching and subsequent instruction of this, the cause of A is produced by Ona and others, Dhari is like that. Thus, first, after completely making the instruction of definite arising, secondly, the benefit of definite arising is said as "Other also," and so on. For the great ones, four benefits are said, that is, for the phenomena such as form that should be completely known, it is complete knowledge, for the desire and hatred, and so on, that should be abandoned, it is abandonment, for the Paramitas, and so on, that should be perfected, it is perfection, for the Samadhi, and so on, that should be manifested, it is manifesting each object separately. For those objects of focus, these views are not there, it is called the accomplishment of the kinds of benefits. Not making pride in all phenomena, it was said that even for the mind of enlightenment, one should not make pride, it was said there. Here, it is the meaning of the summary of the doctrine.

Therefore, regarding the mind of enlightenment, it is said that Bodhisattvas do not become arrogant in the realm of extreme arrogance, which itself proves that one does not become arrogant towards all dharmas. Thus, for things that should be fully understood, they are fully understood; for things that should be abandoned, they are abandoned; for things that should be completely perfected, they are completely perfected; and for benefits that should be manifested, they are accomplished in meaning. Thus, it is mainly said that not being arrogant towards the mind of enlightenment itself is called "other," which is the word "other" in relation to the key instructions of renunciation. The so-called "practice" refers to practicing during the stage of the path. The so-called "meditation" refers to arising correctly during individual realization. The so-called "thus to learn" means that one should learn in this way by not being arrogant itself. How can one not be arrogant even with the mind of enlightenment? The so-called "with that also" refers to Bodhisattvas, because beings are also called Bodhisattvas because they possess a certain entering mind. The word "also" is to indicate a distinction. Because he surpasses all sentient beings, Bodhisattvas also believe that if even this is not arrogant, then other dharmas need not be mentioned. Why is that? This refers to not being arrogant. In what way? The answer is, in this way, the mind is no-mind, the word mind refers to pervasive conceptualization and discrimination. For complete accomplishment, the unsurpassed, perfectly complete mind of enlightenment, because its nature of dharmata transcends all characteristics of pervasive conceptualization and discrimination, it does not have the characteristic of mind. Therefore, it is called no-mind. Therefore, it is said that the nature of mind is luminosity, the nature of dharmata is that the nature of mind is luminosity, therefore it is no-mind, there is no mind of pervasive conceptualization and discrimination.

This is for the purpose of knowing. How is it known? The nature of the mind is luminosity, because the mind is neither completely associated with desire and so on, nor is it not associated, that is, in the respective stages of ordinary beings, even when desire and hatred and so on arise, it is not stained by all defilements like the sky, therefore it is said to be not completely associated. Again, for those who have become Buddhas, the mind is not associated with sudden afflictions, therefore it abides in its own nature of purity, and it does not generate those defilements again, so it is bright. Like the sky that is not stained by clouds and so on, it is said to be not inseparable. Because if it were completely associated before, therefore it would also be separated. Because even in the previous stage with defilements, it is not completely associated with them because of its own nature of purity, therefore it is also said that it is not not associated with them later. Venerable Subhuti, what do you think, does the mind without mind exist? What does this refer to? Just like saying mind, for Venerable Subhuti, in his stage it is also called by the name of mind, therefore with the nature of no mind, the mind will become existent. Therefore, he asks, therefore Venerable Subhuti said: Does the nature of the mind or the nature of the Bodhisattva exist in it, he says this. However, with the nature of unspeakable, with the name of extremely pure, he speaks of the time of its existence. Otherwise, because it is impossible to name it. Following the previous force, saying that mind is saying no mind, is this expressed with such intention? Venerable Shariputra, what do you think, is non-thought itself, does this non-thought itself exist in it, or does it not exist in it, or will it come or point to it? This is because in the state of no mind, it is not appropriate to say either existence or non-existence, this is the intention of tending towards two extremes. It is said for this very reason: Venerable
