, as well as the sublime words of omniscient wisdom. For those who seek meaning in entering into it, etc., because of close contemplation, demons, etc., will come; and snakes, etc., are cut off, anger; greed and ignorance, etc., are cut off; the meaning of manifestation is clarified; the extremely peaceful warmth makes agitation, arrogance, pride, etc., disappear; and because the place is warm, joy arises towards virtue; and evil incarnations, etc., appear, thereby eliminating the heretics who want to find fault; and the poison is greatly calmed, thereby healing those who hold non-Dharma desires by the heretics; and eliminating eye diseases, thereby eliminating the faults of view, and generating right view. Now, because of the difference in the support, the qualities of the wish-fulfilling jewel are spoken of, that is, "given in any water," etc. The so-called "one's own" refers to the difference due to the difference in the support, because its color will change according to the difference of all supports. To show this, that is, "if it," etc. This shows that through the difference of lineage and special intention, the beings to be tamed, that is, the Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, as well as Indra and the Wheel-Turning King, etc., the difference in their fruits will truly appear. Now, in order to express that the abiding Ananda, because the wish-fulfilling jewel is a divine object, is difficult to obtain, therefore, for the meaning that can be compared, it is also difficult to obtain, and he asks, that is, "what else," etc. The so-called "among the gods" indicates that, like the heavenly realm, in the continuum of the Bodhisattva, the extremely pure Prajnaparamita and omniscient wisdom are truly manifested. The so-called "for the people of Jambudvipa" indicates that, like the human realm, in the continuum of the Hearers, etc., the smallness of their qualities is manifested. Therefore, for the relics of the Hearers, etc., offerings should be made in a corresponding manner. Now, Nirvana is also the place of offering for the Tathagata's body,

That which was spoken by one with a name, such as "He should also abandon that." The statement "having become a vessel" refers to the fact that whatever arises from the Prajñāpāramitā should be venerated. Also, the words "How does the Bhagavan venerate the bodies of the Tathāgatas?" are found in some texts, but not in the old texts. Therefore, it was added with the correct intention combined with realization. Here, too, the meaning is related in this order, praising the great mothers with the example of jewels. As before, in the ten directions of the world, the twelve branches of scripture explain the words of all the Buddhas, and the Prajñāpāramitā, which is the object of veneration, is taught. This is to proclaim its equality, because the Bhagavati inevitably appears in the teachings of the sutras and so on. Likewise, the offering to the king is because of truly relying on the king, like the arising of the Prajñāpāramitā, which is called the offering to the bodies of the Tathāgatas. Thus, the meaning of the metaphor has been explained. Here, the first example is that just as the teachings of the sutras and so on should be venerated by the power of the Prajñāpāramitā, so too are the relics because of that power. The meaning of the example is not the nature of the jewel, but like the great sovereignty of the jewel, the bodies of the Tathāgatas, which arise from the great sovereignty of the Bhagavati and the omniscient wisdom, should be venerated. Likewise, in the second example, it is not the meaning of the nature of offering the object of offering by the power of the Dharmakāya, but in the scriptures of the great mothers, it is seen that everything is abandoned here, but it is not inverted. Therefore, the scriptures of the great mothers are proclaimed before this example of jewels, not after it. Now, in order to proclaim again the meaning that Indra should extremely venerate the Bhagavati, with the filling of worlds equal to the sands of the Ganges,

Also, the Prajñāpāramitā is received from the bodies of the Tathāgatas. The reason given for this is the expression, "Bhagavan, therefore." Here too, the reason is shown, and it is shown that offering to the Bhagavan Mother and so forth generates much merit. These are not of the nature of stating the meaning, but rather they show the ultimate truth. Thus, other than the merit arising from offering to the bodies of the Tathāgatas, it is also shown that the merit of offering to the Bhagavan Mother is another, very hidden merit. Regarding the difference in merit between offering to relics and stupas, the teachers tell the story of the golden body. For example, in Shravasti, a woman whose husband was fasting became attached. From the most excellent essence, she was truly called a young woman, and she became infatuated with the young woman's appearance and youth, and came to the young woman's house. She saw the young woman playing and embracing, and time passed. Later, she was controlled by others due to fear and suffering, and was seen by other men. She said, "Alas, take this person to the cemetery and bury them!" They did as she said and buried the dead person. After that, she went to that person's house seven times. Later, on a night like dawn, she was in her own house, digging, wanting to dig up what she had buried. As she dug, she saw that the dead person had become a golden body of the Jambu River. She was amazed and her limbs were powerless. She took one of his fingers and went to the goldsmith. He bought the finger and said, "This is gold like a jewel, never seen before." Then he offered the finger to King Light, who also called the gold seller, obtained a true conversation, and then went to this person's residence. Seeing the golden body, he exclaimed, "Alas! The complete maturation of virtuous deeds, what deed did this person with inconceivable wisdom do?" He wanted to know, the Bhagavan.
